  • You should be able to start around week 5 if you can do 20 minutes straight, but pay attention to your pace. You may want to go further back.

  • I’m technically overweight by 11 pounds right now however I’m living the healthiest life style I have yet and I don’t look super big or anything, it’s weird like that.
  • Sam’s club (or Costco) pizza, maybe some good fries, fried chicken, and desserts of course
  • Cardio, no matter what I can’t seem to get into weight training but I have to lol
  • I think maybe a little more. I lost weight eating like that but when I weighed 137 (at 5’5) and I was eating 1300ish or less calories I lost my period, was always cold, my skin and eyes didn’t look the same, I was constantly dizzy and light headed, moody, felt bad, I certainly wouldn’t reccomend that. I didn’t even work…
  • When your weight is higher usually you can afford to eat more. The problem with mfp is it’s kind of a guideline if you don’t have premium but it doesn’t actually know your body personally and your needs. If you feel like you’re eating too much, or you can’t reach your calorie goal it’d be fine to drop back down a little…
  • C25K or the 10k are good running training apps. There’s also some free apps if you search in the App Store that have decent work outs believe it or not.
  • Shopping!! Swimming, dog walking, or when I worked in a restaurant and was on my feet I stayed moving and it was fun
  • Congrats! I’m at the same place as you, just ran my 25 minute one as well! The shoes take a minute to get used to but they make all the difference
  • I like Clif bars and Lenny and Larry's cookies, they're cheaper than quest bars
  • Over time i realized it starts to drive me crazy to count things like vitamins, cucumbers, or spices. Spinach as well, when you look at it these things are like 15-30 calories and it isn't the end of the world.
  • Try the power meddeteranian salad
  • I wouldn't recommend meal skipping, I tried that mentality and if you're hungry you're hungry for a reason. Especially when working out, I would atleast advice you to have a protein shake or smoothie or piece of fruit in the morning. Your body needs food as fuel, when I had the meal skipping mentality it really ruined my…
  • You could try drinking smoothies or protein shakes or choosing to add things like peanut butter or hummus which has more calories, beware of undereating. I did it for a while and ruined my metabolism.
  • I tried to make a peanut butter chocolate oatmeal but it sucked so I had a slice of whole wheat toast, one packet of instant grits, an egg and egg white
  • That's how I feel! I'm only 18 now and it's always been difficult to stick to something like 1200 calories, I used to do 1300 or under and had no energy, lost my period, etc. thanks for the help! I'll be sure to ease back into things
  • No not at all. I think parents should plan meals and educate kids on staying around certain numbers of calories, listening their bodies and fueling them with good foods with occasional treats. Calorie counting when I was younger led me into an eating disorder and my parents didn't even push that on me. It should be their…
  • I'm in college now, but I lost the weight in high school. Some people thought I was snotty or rude when I chose to eat healthier, I did get included in certain things and left out of some. People that would've never befriended me before became my friends, I got hit on more, it was all a very strange change for me.
  • I drink a ton of Diet Pepsi, it's aspartame free which is good and it's not the best thing in the world for me but it didn't magically cause me to gain weight, crave stuff, and it didn't expand my stomach either
  • That's exactly what happened to me! I honestly kind of believe in it, my body was fine at 137 lbs and 5'5 (after a 40 lb weight loss) and being a dumb teenager I would keep trying to eat 1300 calories or lower, I lost my period for almost a year, I was always tired and depressed. I then in turn developed binge eating…
  • If you're tired and your hair is like that and you simply don't feel good then maybe. Something similar happened to me and I lost my period for almost a year from it.
