Reactive eating and set point weight

I'm also reading a little about leptin levels in deep deficits/prolonged cuts and that makes more sense to me rather than the set point theory. I'm actually going to experiment with this on a bi weekly basis both for science and deliciousness.0

That's exactly what happened to me! I honestly kind of believe in it, my body was fine at 137 lbs and 5'5 (after a 40 lb weight loss) and being a dumb teenager I would keep trying to eat 1300 calories or lower, I lost my period for almost a year, I was always tired and depressed. I then in turn developed binge eating disorder and didn't realize all of this till I'm an adult so now I'm trying to recover from these mistakes. I ended up gaining like 10 lbs with my binging and I don't feel best here, but I don't think it'd be wise to try to go back to my old ways.0
