Congrats!!! I’ve lost 17lbs since last May and dropped 2 sizes. Very few people have mentioned it, even though it’s noticeable. I think it’s because it’s no longer PC to comment on someone’s weight, as if saying you look great might be taken as you looked horrible before the weight loss. I wouldn’t mind more compliments…

Thanks for the links — I’m going to try those. This is a favorite easy recipe and last all week. It’s still chilly here so I’m still making it. Lemony Chicken Orzo Soup https://www.womansday.com/food-recipes/food-drinks/recipes/a11152/lemony-chicken-orzo-soup-recipe-wdy0514/

13 years from my CSection and while I don’t have the pouch I can’t do a sit up, or V up. I can’t feel the connection to the abs that activate those moves. It’s really weird, but a calorie deficit has made the area much flatter.

I am a Pure Barre fanatic. Map My Walk says I burn 400 calories per class, but I think that is way overestimating. MMW syncs the calories to MFP and I only eat 200 back mostly for help with recovery.

I agree with the other comments—something is off here—but I wanted share a recent NSV that opened my eyes about my waist size. I generally track three measurement bust, natural waist, and hips. (36-29-36) I was trying to figure out why I felt smaller, but wasn’t seeing a loss in measurements or on the scale, and I was…

I do 16/8. It works well for me and helps me stay within my calorie goals. I’m a woman and have heard women may do better Fasting for 15 rather than 16 hours, but I’ve tried both and didn’t notice a difference.

Although I do believe that size 2 is the new size 4 and that sizes have changed/inflated over the years I don’t think the size you currently wear is vanity sizing since the sizing has inflated across the board for at least two decades now. In fact I think it’s a better indicator that a number on the scale is just that —a…

I don’t drink alcohol because I don’t like to drink alcohol, but I’ve noticed that when socializing other people are taken aback if I don’t drink. For some reason it makes them uncomfortable? And they are constantly trying to push a drink on me —to stop that I usually have a glass of water/seltzer with a lime and others…

@jenilla1 I’ve been trying to figure that out myself especially when I see other people’s stats. My hips are 36”, bust is also 36”, and my natural waist is 29”. I do have long legs and they are super lean. I have a short waist. I know it’s def. vanity sizing because I could never fit into a 90’s size 2 and I was 18lbs…

Congratulations on your weightloss! WTG! Here are my stats- also same brand jeans/pants 5’ 6’ 168 size 6 155 size 4 144 size 2 So it looks like every 10lbs I go down a size. I have a banana shape A lot depends on where you hold your weight. I would love a tiny waist, but it’s never gonna happen because of my body…

I’m probably going to get woo for this, but this used to happen to me too. After some trial and error I found that eliminating wheat and dairy from my diet solved the problem.

I hate the gym, but I’ve found that I love studio type classes. When I finally found something I love doing I found myself eager to go and devasted if I couldn’t. Just sharing what worked for me.
