I'm not trying to get into ketosis. You slip in and out of ketosis all the time on a ketogenic diet. As I said before, I was just curious about the fast mimicking diet and wondered if anyone else has heard of it.

Keto or ketosis isn't a magic pill, it takes time and effort just like everything else.

I really like the way I feel on my keto diet, I do t wanna change. But it does feel like I'm doing alot of extra work.

I feel better when I have a restricted time frame. I'm gonna work up to 18/6 or more. It's so hard when I'm cooking for my husband and kids though. They eat totally different foods and times than I do.

I just don't want to over do it. No carbs and low calorie...I'm just not sure how to go about it. I'm new to dieting and am trying to get different point of views. I don't wanna make myself sick because I'm not well informed or doing the wrong things.

I eat no pasta, no potatoes, no bread, no rice, no cake ect. I really don't eat any carbs unless they come from veggies or cream in my coffee. So I hope I stay in ketosis.

I do better on a more structured diet. I'm not confident enough in my diet yet to add sweets back in without over doing it. And I'm on a very low carb low sugar diet. It's working and I don't want to mess it up.

Drink as much water as you'd like. I drink 96 oz of water a day :) and yes, you allow yourself an 8 hour window in which to eat and fast for the other 16. I eat from 10 am til 6 pm so far

Go by net carbs. (Carbs - fiber - sugar alcohols = net carbs) Thats what I've gotten from research. I've been doing keto for a little more than a month and have lost 22 pounds.

I'm doing low carb with counting calories. A little more strict. I find I do better with a more structured diet.
