Analogy...for weekends...A carpenter doesn't build a gorgeous house and then on the weekends burn it down because it feels good and is fun...then has to start all over again on Monday" On weekends...don't burn down the house! SaturDAY and SunDAY end in DAY just like every other day of the week...treat them that way!

I agree, lifting and eating a little more. Maybe change what your are eating, as in more protein and lower carbs

I don't. I have that function turned off. I think these devises overestimate the steps and calories. It is impossible for them to be accurate. I put in my exercises, and steps, but don't allow it to add extra calories to my daily amounts. Since I am on a macronutrient program, I have a very precise number of macros I need

Eons ago, I was a heavy lifter, so have lottos thickness and muscle mass...even though I have padded the crap out of that mass. In seeing a trainer, I changed my routine from 10-12 reps of 3 sets to 20 reps of 4 sets..no breaks and stepped training! Cannot believe the changes!!! Huge in literally weeks! Have lost 5 inches…

It sounds like you are making progress and great progress. Better to do it slowly. But I agree with what others say, you need to be accountable for what you are eating. I recently weighed two apples, they were over 150 calories difference. Times that by 2-3 pieces of fruit...and you are talking 450 calories. I carry a…

Take a break....from it all...a few days to a week. Get your head on straight and then come back with all rockets firing. Sometimes a reset is needed.

Your calorie intake is very low.I am a female, and at 185 pounds, and my calorie intake is close to 1900 a day, and for past 12 weeks have been losing but have also been lifting (Started at 220). The key has been how my macronutrients have been divided. 145 protein, 175 carbs, 64 fats. This is all measured, and that…

i had previously used MFP to determine caloric amounts to lose weight, and it also put me at 1200. this is a hard number to maintain, but recently joined a macronutrient program, and eat 1900 calories...losing 33 in 11 weeks, and the amount is attainable and manageable. I know they say less is more...but in my case, eating…

Yes, you can make recipes too. You can even log ahead, then make changes if you make any changes

You can eat whatever you like, but I did discover the when attempting to lose weight I was eating too little. I went from trying to eat 1200-1300 calories a day to 1900, and I am losing 2 plus pounds a week. Because it is totally doable, I stick to it perfectly...11 weeks. 32 pounds. Eating fast food, drinking beer...as…

Consistency. The best time is usually first thing in the morning as soon as you have used the bathroom. That way you have had hours of sleep and have emptied the bladder (an bowels, if it applies). This is when I weigh every day

My understanding is losing muscle is not so easy to do...I have always been muscular...then got lazy and added some padding to that muscle. I am now trying to reduce some of that mass, and it is not easy. There are different kinds of muscles and different ways to make them work (so my trainer tells me). So, I have had to…

After many different diets over the years, i have finally found a system that never deprives me...I think that is key. Diet sounds like something temporary...one should change your way of eating, and I am not sure that a carb free life sounds like much fun...I mean there is birthday cake and bread. It makes it so much…

This is why there are NSV...it doesn't always show on a scale. I saw a recent photo of someone who was the exact same weight but the difference in body composition was incredible. One they were flabby and looked "fluffy", the other they were ripped and muscular. Remember the scale is just a number.

Alcohol stops your metabolism while your body gets rid of the toxins. The plan I follow penalizes alcohol with 10 grams of fat in addition to varying carbs depending on the type of alcohol. Since I only get 64 grams of fat a day...I keep the alcohol under control.

I am the same...As long as it fits in my macros, I am golden. Had an unbelievable Bear claw stuffed with apples and cinnamon this weekend. Most nights I have to eat ice cream, chocolate, and jello to finish of my macros...Love it

I have mine assigned by a coach. I have been seeing him for 11 weeks. Have lost 27 pounds, 40 inches. I started at 215 and my macros were 190 carb 70 fat and 145 protein. They are currently 175 carb 64 fat and 145 protein. These have been the same for the past 8 weeks.
