I got on the treadmill the other day and jogged for four minutes without stopping.
Me. Jogging.48 -
I went to my whites that are a size too small, and they FIT! Yeaaassss!!!24

Last night my wedding rings went flying off my finger across the restaurant floor. (We found them).32

My bf took a photo of me in the shorts and top I wear in the hot tub, with my tummy showing. The thing is, I don't hate it! I can see the indent of my waist, with a natural gap between my side and my arm hanging straight down. My abdomen still has plenty of excess fat, but also now has the two little furrows on either side of my belly, which I have learned are called the linea semilunaris (I looked it up). I'm not saying there are visible abdominal muscles, but there's a SHAPE other than round.
I love learning new info. Thanks for helping me add semilunaris to my vocabulary and congrats on your progress!

Bought a bunch of new sweaters since it’s starting to get chilly in North Mississippi and ALL of last year’s sweaters are too big. I bought three sweaters at TJ Maxx, all different brands, all size 2X, and they all fit a little loose like I like them! Last year I was in Catherine’s size 4X! I’m down to a size 2X tshirt too! I can’t wait to get down to an XL and not have to pay $2 extra for the t-shirts my agency sells.39

I had my yearly dr appt this morning, I was down 20lb from last years appt and my blood pressure was perfectly normal - it always ran high when I was heavier! Glad to see the weight loss seemed to help my bp!!39

So I'm a procrastinator...big time! I am helping my daughter's class have their 2nd grade Halloween party this Friday and I forgot that I needed to have a Halloween shirt to wear. Of course, the only ones left are just plain dumb or not really appropriate for a bunch of 2nd graders. And I'm very "frugal" person and didn't want to spend that kind of money on a shirt that I will wear once in a great while.
So I got the bright idea to try on a kids' shirt. They're about 2/3 the price and were on sale...and more appropriate. Guess what! It fit!!!!! HOLY CRAP! Granted, it was a XL in kids' size but I spent $5.60 on it. Now I know to look in the kids' section when need to buy something like this.

My newest nsv: no more late night snacking. It was really killing my calorie count.25

Today I was busy rearranging some forniture around, completely redoing a room so that's why. But, I got really hungry. So by the time I got to the food we have in the house I got some chocolate chip cookies and almost ate the whole thing.
NSV: I logged all of it AND due to moving all the furniture I'm still under my daily limit. No wonder I got hungry!25 -
Posted a picture on Facebook of me and my sister this morning. Talked to my mom this afternoon, and the first thing she said was "So, looks like you've lost weight." You can definitely tell I've lost in my face.21

My trainer said I was looking "jacked"
Fit into size 10 jeans....first time in 12 years!!!34 -
Over the weekend we went hiking around the local lake (7+ miles) with our dog and some friends and their dogs. Other than tired feet and hips, I was only mildly winded a couple of times. The last time I went around the lake 4 years ago, I was constantly winded and in so much pain. Also, I was able to wear a pair of my husbands 36x30 quick dry pants, that were only a little snug in the waist (mostly due to having a butt). The real surprise is I thought he was in 38s.23

Today i was supposed to get a tattoo. Its my fun tradition i love doing to get fast food and a snack before my tattoo (not the time for blood sugar crashes) Tattooo didnt work out but part of me decided i still have a marble slab free icecream ticket in my purse iv had since june (minor victory there im a god for walking past marble slab that many times for that long and not going in lol)
Anyway i had decided i was going to go get icecream today anyway. Mise will snack right, I planned to.
Nope- Partial laziness but im choosing to nurture my lazy and im going to stay home and eat healthy. Just because its a tradition and i already told myself im going to have icecream, I decided i dont need it. Save it for a day i already burned the calories off and truely want it. Its huge to say no to something i already told myself i can have.
And weirdly, I dont want it. Iv wanted nothing but sugar and sweets for months now LOL. Win22 -
Years ago I bought a ring for my middle finger. As my weight went up, the ring was moved to my ring finger. Well, today I am wearing that ring on the middle finger again. Without it feeling like a tourniquet. Still snug, have a ways to go yet, but so thrilled!24

Two recent ones:
- Yesterday was weigh in, and it was the first week I actually gained weight, not lost in 2.5 months. It was only a little (.6 lbs), but normally that would really turn me off. Instead, I'm as determined as ever and being more patient about it now that I'm closer to goal weight.
- I got legit hand callouses from weightlifting now. They're nice and hardened over. I realized I've been lifting and exercising 5+ times a week for four months consistently now. Progress!

I had a hard time finding an angle that shows how ridiculous this looks! Wide calf boots which fit me last year next to my new normal calf boots. Last year I searched all over to find boots that would go over my calves and finally found these at Catherine's. They have elastic on the back of them as well as being wide calf, and I needed the elastic to get them zipped up over jeans. Now they look like pirate boots!
NSV: one pair of new boots on clearance - and they were exactly my size!
Ugh. Excuse the dirty floor in the laundry room!56 -
Last night I took my first ever Zumba class. I felt so uncoordinated, but hung in there and got through it.
I thought that this morning I would be super sore, but am only a little stiff which should work out with my morning yoga. Then I'm off for a 6 mile hike in Yosemite. Never in my 59 years have I ever thought this could be my life.46 -
I wore size 6 pants yesterday. I know they were super vanity-sized (Loft), but I'm counting it as a win anyway. I can't think of anytime that I've ever been a 6. My highest was a tight 18 (briefly after having my second), spent a long time in 12-14, then about a year in 10's. Lately the 8's in some brands have been feeling loose, so I went with the 6 and they fit perfectly! Now, to get to a 6 in all brands...24

I had someone I didn't know check me out last night, including a wink to make sure I was aware of it. Slightly awkward with my wife and son with me, but pretty flattering nonetheless.26

I put on a pair of dress pants that I hadn't worn since late winter: they were way too big, so I've put them in the donate pile. Now, I need to find a smaller size to replace them20

Had a really bad cheat day yesterday. I have two NSV’s. 1) I didn’t wallow in self pity yesterday evening like I would’ve done in the past. I enjoyed my meals and told myself I will just get back on track tomorrow. My husband even noticed I didn’t get depressed about it. 2) I am back on track today! It was supposed to rain today so after dropping my eldest off at school, my toddler and I had breakfast and went for a walk up and down the street. I wanted to beat the rain so I figured I would catch only a 20 minute walk at most but the rain never came and I walked an hour (3 miles pushing her in a stroller)!! Before I would’ve said oh it looks like rain I don’t want to get caught in it so I’m not going to go.
Pretty proud I’m sticking with this!36 -

I was just about to put this, I haven't worn my engagement ring over 2 years now. I was just able to wear it last week.20 -
Multiple people I haven’t seen in 4-6 months telling me that I look younger after losing weight.23

Today marks 300 days of logging my meals. I have been consistent so much that it no longer feels like a chore. It feels like a normal daily activity like brushing my teeth. Also I went shopping today, it's amazing the different areas of your body you lose weight and don't realize it. I regret not taking measurements of my calves when I started in January. Ever since I could wear knee high boots I always needed wide calf boots. Today I'm at the shoe store shopping for winter boots and all the wide calf boots are now ridiculously big. I still need to lose an inch or 2 on the calves and also right above my knee then I'll be able fit into every boot in my size. I'm looking forward to that day. I enjoy wearing thigh socks when it's freezing cold outside but I can't find any that fits without cutting off my circulation. I'm also looking forward to losing more inches from my thighs.19

Took the time to calculate my TDEE and upped my calories on here. Have been stalled for months and kept thinking "the scale will move" well, yes, it will move but I have to be educated about it to avoid a lifelong poorly functioning metabolism.22

Went to Costco with my mom and there were about a dozen people giving out samples. Had one sample of oatmeal raisin cookies (delicious btw); logged it. Walked past the other samples without a second look.
At lunch with my mom she ordered 10 dumplings for an appetizer. Used to be we would split them and also eat a full meal. I had prelogged and knew I had calories and carbs (I'm a diabetic and have to watch carbs per meal) for one dumpling plus my meal. Ate one dumpling. Food was late. Stared at dumplings and strongly considered eating another dumpling. Did not eat another dumpling. Got my mom a box for the rest of the dumplings.
Resisting temptation didn't used to be my strong suit! If I had to sit at a restaurant which offered something like bread or chips before a meal, I used to eat all of it. I can't do that now, most foods like that are very challenging for my blood sugar. Knowing that my blood glucose meter will tell the true tale, no matter what excuses I make for myself, really helps me stay on track.47 -
Six months ago I wore size 16 jeans and an XL shirt. This morning I'm wearing size 8 jeans and a medium shirt. Still a long way to go, but when I got dressed this morning, it felt like progress.
I also bought the dress I want to celebrate in (haven't worn a dress in 6 or 7 years) when I hit a healthy BMI. It too is a medium...too tight to wear out of the house right now, but I know I'll get there.
Much thanks to EVERYONE who posts on these boards. Each and every one of you is an inspiration!

Today, my friend invited me to her gym (UFC gym) to take a boxing conditioning class with her. I got so sweaty, it was like I jumped in a pool! But, more importantly, I was one of the more physically fit and conditioned people in the class surprisingly. It's great to know my normal workout routine is working so well!19

1. Thanks to eating mostly clean food since January, the Milky Way bad that I snuck from my son’s Halloween candy didn’t even taste good to me.
2. Also thanks to eating clean for so long, my XL maternity clothes are too big and I just had to go buy some size L clothes for my current pregnancy! Everything else is so stretched out!20 -
Was happy to have a free weekend - not working, kids w/ the ex....then got contacted by coworker scheduled to work this w/e that he's sick, his email isn't working and he can only make calls on his cell (but not receive them). Total fiasco. No one else can cover. So I go in to work for him. Leave home 12:45PM. Work sucks. Got home 8:45PM.
Was hangry. Was tempted to get fast food or a half pound of bbq brisket or eat at a bar and drink, drink, drink. But went home, made my Beyond Burger, etc and had calories to spare for some port. Thank god for port.38
