Depends on genetics mostly Edited: read whole post

Yeah I used to feel that way, and my hips were even smaller than 40 at that time. All I did was cardio and was a size 0 lol. I wouldn’t wanna look like that now, but to each their own ☺️

I prefer a thicker look. I’m kinda tall (5’6) and me having no hips makes me look lanky. But that’s my own personal opinion on myself.

Hip dips are genetic and look that way because of your bone structure. BUT you can go heavy on the hip abduction machine, hip abduction with cables, as well as resistance bands. You could go light on these but not if you’re looking to build muscle to make the hip dips less noticeable/prominent. My hips were 40 originally,…

I’m 5’6 as well and don’t really care about BMI, it classifies me as overweight because of the muscle I have. Not too worried about it. I’m more concerned about keeping a fairly low body fat percentage.

I’m 5’6, 163 lbs. With pants I’m a size 10/12 depending, with tops I’m usually medium. Pear shaped and carry most of my weight in my lower body.

Hey, I’m Sabrina! Currently doing a Keto diet but I weight lift and do HIIT cardio as well. I’d love to try yoga, haven’t gotten around to it yet. I’d love a friend who can teach me a few things :)

22 year old, really into strength and resistance training and HIIT cardio. Currently on Keto, trying it out for the first time. Been working out for a year and I’d really love some fitness friends :)

Thank you ☺️

Trying to lose body fat. That’s what I figured, but was just unsure. Currently I’m eating at a deficit, on keto and doing more cardio

That makes sense, thank you!

I’m 22 years old and began working out a little over a year ago in the hopes of being healthy. Also because I always felt kinda lanky and was insecure about it, wanted to gain healthy mass. Gained 20 pounds doing strength and resistance training. When I first started out weight training was very new to me because all my…

Feel free to add me, just finished a bulk... currently cutting for the summer. Long term goal is to be 5’6 and 180 pounds, around 18% body fat. Currently 166-170 depending on the day and 25% BF

Mine is pretty bad. I broke my leg when I was younger so I have a small leg length difference which is the reason for the scoliosis. But yes, when I started working out I really practiced on form just using my own body weight before incorporating weights. As of right now my max for squats would be 165 and for deadlifting I…

I do a lot of squats and deadlifting but I don’t go super heavy because of my back. I have scoliosis but I try my best to push myself. I go heaviest on some machines with isolation exercises, maxing out on legs usually every time. I do workout legs a lot but I’ll do maxing out weights, then with the lower weighted squats…

I wanted to gain muscle but also burn fat but it seems like I can’t do both at the same rate. When I try to bulk I lose fat but extremely slowly, and when I try and cut I end up losing muscle. I’m honestly going back and forth between being in a deficit and bulking. Sometimes I feel like I’m doing well but then I gain body…

Recently I’ve been trying not to go past 1,600 calories
-
I’ve lowered my calorie goal to 2,100 on here but these past couple of days I purposefully went lower than 2,000. And tbh I feel like I’m depriving myself, felt kinda faint yesterday. So this probably isn’t good for me at all. Not quite sure what I should do
