Thanks for writing, yes I can prevent ordering grains, carbs and alcohol. But my brain is like saying, come on you are here, enjoy the full experience. And if I order like the salad and the protein my brain says kind you are no getting most for your money, you are not enjoying or ordering what you want and you are paying…

I really have more psychological pressure on the food than on the alcohol. Basically I have the all or nothing mentality in the restaurant because it's like "I need to get the most of this experience" so I basically have to have all the experiences ( starters, mains, desserts, beer, wine, bread ). In my house I can control…

Yes, Sushi Night is 2 lbs more even if I've eaten clean all day. And Roger with the salt and the oil and all the rest.

Thanks for the advice!

Someone once told me the artificial sweetners in these drinks can in fact increase your cravings in a second step.

I'm a bit of the same. So re-starting my journey again. I guess if you plan only tomorrow as the perfect workout and diet day and do it. See how you feel at the end and next day even on the scale. And repeat. Big hug.

The 3 whole days was ironical as I'm such a serial starter / quitter. But hey mini milestone but at least one. Rabbit is quite good and healthy, little fat and cholesterol. And

You know what you are talking about clearly! Would join you delighted.

Wise words. Thanks. The story of my life, serial starter ALL IN, serial quitter, ALL OUT.

No real reason for Christmas. Just fed up of being fat plus all the injuries on top. I can walk and have a bike and indoor bike. And have a few gym equipment in my home.

Agree, normally I would lose 2 pounds per week, which will slow when I lose more weight. I just wanted to put a horizon. Thanks for the comment that this is not a race. For me everything in life is a race. I have had some successes because of this but it's the long term that counts and is not a good approach. I can walk.…

That is awesome, amazing body man! I'm your first pic now. 220 lbs, should be in 175. And yes I need to stop my binge everything ( Food, drinks and even sports ). A bit more rational approach. Day after day!

You are right in all you say. Keto worked but simply I checked my cholesterol and stopped because a heart attack didn't sound like a plan. My cholesterol boomed. And you nailed me fast. I'm start & Stop, all in or all out. I need to work the resilience.. Thanks for your deep comment!

A glass of milk doesn't do that to me. Weird enough. I'll try the veggie one!
-
But it seems that it has much less protein delivery, is that correct ?
-
I'm not intolerant to artifical sweetners for sure. Regarding lactose, I can eat cheese and yoghurt without major problem or drink milk ( although I don't drink normally milk ).
-
Every single sports person does if you want to create gains. No way to get protein in that amount only from food.
-
Welcome

Yes but the beauty of Keto you have no cravings so in fact you can be quite some time in it!

Hi team another here. 42 years old, 6 foot, 220 pounds. Need to lose 50 pounds. Serial starter. Several injuries ( Knee, hip, hamstring ) and 10 hour corporate america sitting down job. I golf and used to mountain bike. Now trying to start workout again and diet.

Hahahahaha true. You touched many of my issues. First I also think I’m still 16, second already did the physio part and the answer was because you’re overweight, sitting all day and in a bad shape.

Can you explain example of meal plans you we’re doing . That’s amazing.

That’s cool, but just to manage expectations I have failed lots of times. I start hard core and then deflate. So anyway that being said it’s better to be exercising and dieting than sitting down 12 hours a day and binging on food and alcohol. Yesterday I managed to not have dinner that at least for willpower was an…

While your response sounds very professional and would be of text book manual it doesn’t help me at all, as what he has answered mixed with what I know allows to me build a program. So thank you but I came for help not lectures.

You are right, i just bought the Goggins book to keep me motivated.

I can do things, simply as I do get injured regularly it frustrates me big time. I kind if think im wrongly made. But i spend 8-10 hours working in a chair, Im overweight and then I go to play golf or bike thinking I can progress fast but then my body stops me.
-
I can ride a bike, swim, walk but Im not doing it currently. Totally out of shape.
-
Thanks! That's amazing. You think I can build quads and Hamstrings in my house without the gym weight machines ? BTW, my awful physical shape doesn't allow me to pull ups or chin ups ( 220 pounds current weight, 50 in excess of my ideal body weight, 30% body fat ). I started to do some push ups and I can do almost ten but…

Never heard of it. Will investigate.
