Welcome @jordanconroy23 !

Had to fix a leak under the kitchen sink today and I could fit under the sink to do the work! A year ago it would have been a miserable time.

My NSV is that I've been working out at home. I find it much, much easier to go to an actual gym. Once I'm at the gym I just get down to business. Home is full of distractions, so in a way I'm more proud of myself for getting the workout done at home than I would be had I gone to the gym.

Welcome!

I had to fly on business this past week. It was my first flight in over a year and I'm down a lot of weight since the last air trip. I actually looked forward to not having to get a seatbelt extender (which was an awesome feeling), but the part that I had not considered is that I could use the tray table again! It had been…

Just adding to the chorus of support -- 38 lbs is outstanding work. So glad you posted here!

Congrats, i felt the same after my first week!

I just love that you wrote this, @Terytha . It's just so profound and something I struggle with as my own journey progresses. It's a struggle, but in a way I love this particular struggle: am I discovering who I am, this new me, or am I creating the new me? (And is it dangerous to mix philosophy with weight loss?)

Outstanding! Congrats!

I go as cheap as possible while on the weight loss journey -- have to replace the baggy stuff that falls off me every couple of months, so it's the big box stores for me. Maybe when I reach maintenance I'll look at the more expensive stuff. Appreciate the comments re: TJ Maxx tho, I may check that stuff out and see if…

Way better sleep, normal glucose, normal blood pressure (been on the high side for years), normal cholesterol. Started lifting weights a few months ago and now recurring back pain is gone. As of today i am down about 99 lbs from starting weight.

I also log coffee but not tea. I drink my coffee black but i like to log the few calories and also it’s a way to track caffeine input. I drink mostly herbal teas and those always show as zero calories so I ultimately stopped logging them. I only drink coffee maybe once a week. Good luck on the journey!

Hi @chuckb24c ! I've been going to OTF since March of 2019 -- been great for me. At the moment I'm going only once a week due to some scheduling stuff, but I'm doing strength and cardio on most non-OTF days too.

Charles, so sorry you're struggling! You are SO not alone in having gained back weight after losing a bunch. It's among the worst of feelings, I know because I've had felt it too. But I think you're in the right place to set yourself up for success. Good luck on your journey!

Welcome and good luck on the journey!
