  • I’d consider it part of my daily liquids but wouldn’t log it as water..

  • I use Apple fitness plus. It has a variety of workouts added daily that are 10, 20 or 30 minutes in length and workout routines for different goals. You can also create a fitness schedule to keep you on track. I started with a free trial from target and liked it so much I now pay for it. Hope you find something that works…
  • Everyday I make small goals that align with my long term goals, such as drinking x amount of water or scheduling exercise into my busy day or eating a specific way, doing this fresh everyday allows my goals to be fresh in my mind each day and it helps keep me on track.. I visit the (nsv) non scale victories board. And I…
  • I’m not sure what platform you’re using to input your data but on the iOS app you go to diary and select Add Food under the meal you wish to enter. Then go to My Foods at the top. Then select Create a Food. There you can add the brand name, the serving size and nutritional information. Then you can add a serving or so to…
  • I order my beef and pork from Butcherbox. It’s a delivery service. They work with certified animal welfare family farmers committed to regenerative practices around the Midwest. They carry a variety of meat products that are grass fed, crate free, free range, organic, wild caught, humanely raised, gluten free, dairy free,…
  • Oops, i interpreted the question as which is easier for you to start the day with.? Start with food or exercise? I start my day with exercise and worry about food later. But I started my journey towards health with getting my diet right. And then added in exercise.
  • Baked and decorated over 8 dozen cookies for Xmas dinner and I didn’t eat not one cookie, not even a bite. I let Grandma sample them all to make sure the batches came out right.. I packed a proper lunch too. I’m so proud of myself for being disciplined.
  • Just an update for those who commented on my increased resting heart rate… It’s back to normal!.. Could have been attributed to the increased effort on my walk runs or possibly the cold virus I got shortly after the uptick on my trend line or maybe the combination of both those things but either way it’s back down to its…
  • I logged my first Running Workout! Despite adding runs into my walk intervals for months now, I always just logged it all as a Walking workout. But this time I did my walking first. Then started a run. Then finished with walking. I can’t believe I could run almost continuously for 12 minutes. I had to stop a few times to…
  • My most recent nsv is being able to do just as many pushups as the trainers in the video, albeit in modified form, I can still keep up! I’m so proud of myself. 😁
  • If you can only do 10 minutes today then do the 10 minutes and tomorrow try and do 12 minutes. You’ll build stamina over time. Or you can try breaking it up into smaller chunks multiple times a day. Or go slower. Don’t walk/run as fast, maybe if it’s easier you can go longer. I used to only be able to do 12 minutes on the…
  • @CandyF3463 Hi there. I’d say I’ve mostly conquered my binge eating. For me it wasn’t so much the amount of food I was consuming but more so the out of control feeling that came with the urge to eat. I can now recognize my triggers and choose to do something else. Im triggered by stress and sleepiness. Now I manage my…
  • Mmmmm, love me some sweet potatoes. I like shredded pork or bbq chicken on mine like a baked potato but sweet spud form. I also like to dice em up and add black beans and eggs and chorizo like a hash. Or even doing a beefy chili with sweet potatoes instead of or in addition to beans.. I only eat them candied, with brown…
  • @AnnPT77 sorry to hear about your recent injury. I hope you can heal up and get back to your regular activities soon. It’s just awful when you hurt yourself and can’t do what you enjoy. Hugs to you. Hope you feel better soon and i hope it’s not too serious (as far as bleeds and skull fractures go) it sounds painful 😣.. As…
  • @royekd I would personally just log a serving of each recipe to my meal diary. You can’t add your sauce recipe to a new recipe in the recipe builder unless you add each item of your sauce recipe individually as an ingredient into the new recipe. But I think logging a serving of each is probably easier.
  • Pumpkin fry bread 🤤 That sounds amazing I should try and make a gluten free version. Never made fry bread before. Thanks for sharing.🙂
  • Happy Thanksgiving! 🤗 We named our turkey Gobbles this year.🦃And he will be enjoyed with cranberry jelly and mashed spuds and gravy with sweet potato’s and asparagus prosciutto and stuffed mushrooms and of course pumpkin pie and my hubbys fave, pecan pie all gluten free and dairy free of course 😉 Hope you all enjoy your…
  • I was recommended Wegovy by my Endocrinologist for help with losing weight as I was struggling to lose weight in any timely manner, I was losing just sooooo slowly and I was hungry often and having food cravings. I had been going to this doctors office for 2 yrs for help to get my thyroid disease under control and fix the…
  • Hi 👋. Welcome to MFP. I’m an aspiring runner. Currently walking with jog intervals to try an increase my stamina to be a full runner. Not sure if I’m training correctly so having other runner pals will be nice. Good luck dropping those extra pounds and happy running 🙌😁
  • Well done 🙌 Enjoy your hike tomorrow.
  • Mine is still there. I use the iOS app. At the bottom of the days diary. Notes. Next to Nutrition and under Complete Diary. Where did yours go? 🤔
  • Not that issue specifically that you speak of but the other day I was unable to access my bookmarks and my discussions. It wouldn’t show the list in entirety. For example it would show I have 8 and only show 2. So there seems to be a glitch. It has since resolved, it was only an issue I had for that one day..
  • @AdahPotatah2024 Thank you for posting these. That fried white pine bark and maple flavored grasshoppers has me curious. Do you have the recipes for these? Or where does one acquire such yumminess?
  • MyFitnessPal has pre and post workout recipes in the recipe discovery section that can be accessed through the small dots labeled More to the right at the bottom of the iOS app. I’m not familiar with how to access the recipe discovery section through the android app or the website. I’m sure it’s possible though.
  • Well I’ve decided to just keep an eye on things and listen to my body. Take an extra rest day occasionally and slow down. My pace may have been too fast for my abilities. I don’t think I can carry on a conversation while running but somehow that’s an indicator of the correct pace. Running is still hard for me. It feels…
  • Hi there 👋 Your goal weight is similar to mine. I’ve got 25 more pounds to lose to reach my goal window of 135-140. Checkin in daily or weekly can really help with accountability. What diet and lifestyle habits have you adopted to reach your goals? I have to eat gluten and dairy free and mfpal gives me 1420 calories to eat…
  • It’s very individual but I’m about your height and currently 10 pounds heavier and my calorie budget is 1420 without exercise in the smallest slowest deficit for loss which is half pound a week. My maintenance is closer to 1700-1800 without exercise. When I exercise I get to eat a teeny tiny bit more. 👍😁
  • Increased my run intervals to a minute+ during my walk runs.. 🙌 pretty sure I started with 30 seconds so I’m making great progress 😁🤗
  • @BarbMessimer, Hi MFPal, I’m not doing keto nor carnivore so my information may be lacking but curiosity got to me and a quick google search showed that ketovore is a carnivore heavy diet, incorporating nutritional low carb keto foods for fiber, vitamins, variety, etc.. So for example a carnivore eater may add an avocado…
  • My mini goal is fitting into my skinny jeans for winter. I have a few pairs in two different sizes for my unfortunately fluctuating weight. I do have some to wear now but by the end of winter I hope to fit into the smaller size. I’m gradually increasing my activity and intensity with walk jog intervals and strength…
