  • I have a question. And I know this is probably going to sound silly. And I agree that this probably works and I will likely end up doing this myself. But......Here's my question. If This is the best way to do it. Shouldn't/Couldn't MFP automatically Caluculate this for me when I put in my information to create my profile?…
  • I keep my diary private as well. I don't need anyone and everyone telling me what I can and can't eat or what I should or shouldn't eat. I am the only one accountable for what I put in my mouth and if I want to eat a big mac with all of it's 540 calories....I will. I started using MFP because it allowed me to continue…
  • I log everything with very few exceptions.. I want an accurate view of what I put in my mouth everyday. What I do not log is condiments (ketchup, mustard), and things like crystal light which is typically 5 calories, or if i eat like one smartie or something. But as a general rule I log everything, Fruits, vegies, salad…
  • I have one Washroom (Canada) - Bathroom (US) Washroom (US) - Laundry room (Canada) Maybe I should be more specific. I heard this in West Virginia, I don't know if it's true across the US
  • I will never bug anyone about quitting smoking. I have never smoked (a couple times in University, but never became a habit), but my parents smoked all the time I was growing up. and they used to both smoke in the house. When I moved out I went from a totally smoked soaked environment, to a smoke free environment. I stated…
  • I take off my shoes at the door because I don't want to bring dirt from the outside into the house. taking off my shoes has absolutely NOTHING to do with if I want to get some or not. Really?.....Guys really look for any excuse don't you?

  • I weigh myself everyday right before I shower.........but I only document about once a week.
  • The only things that I don't documents are like crystal light shakers, or a peice of gum or one piece of candy, or condiments, Ketchup and stuff. As for the rest I figure that, if i'm going to make the conscious decision to put it in my mouth then I'm going to do the responsible thing and document it. Who am I cheating if…
  • I AM CANADIAN....err...I mean, I'm from NB *LOL*

  • MFP started me with 1690 call per day.....and has slowly been decreasing as I lose weight. it's currently set at 1560 cals. it's been working for me i've lost 37lb so far, but I'm worried after reading your posts that MFP may be leading me wrong in the long run. How would I know where to maintain my calorie intake in the…
  • Well as a very young child I was called "Passe-Montagne's girlfriend".....so I guess I must have had a crush on him. But the one that I really remember Crushing on when I was a little older (12 or so), it was Robert Sean Leonard. I saw him in the movie "My Best Friend is a Vampire" and I was completely head over heals. I…
  • What I would do is go under "My Exercise" and create a tab that includes this circut as Your own that way everytime you do this particular circuit you can just click on "My exerxise" and add "My circuit" and it will log everything accurately for you :-)

  • I do believe that weight watchers also offers a system based on calories instead of points if memory serves. Maybe the next time you go to a meeting you should ask about it ;-)
