I take iron and vitamin B supplements because I'm deficient in both. I also take a daily multivitamin because it can't hurt. I don't take any weight loss supplements, I think they're generally overpriced and don't do what they're supposed to.

My scale's battery lasted for about 18 months until the last time I changed it. If it's wrecking batteries it's probably time for a repair or a new scale.

Some people find that if they gain muscle and lose fat they stay at the same weight while their clothes fit differently because muscle is denser than fat, however this would be unusual after only a week!

Aiming, not assuming

I don't have quite that much to lose (assuming for about 70lbs) but I am in my 30s. Feel free to add!

Just coffee. I don't get hungry until lunchtime most days.

I'm in as well!

I have used them a lot in the past, but my current gym doesn't have one (not that it's reopened yet anyway). When using them, I definitely felt the burn but they were good for stretching after cardio or weights as well with some of the settings. I've never really tracked anything like muscle mass, but in terms of feeling…

I plan as much as possible because when I wing it my diet is atrocious (see today's diary for example). I'm also only cooking for one, so planning ahead helps me reduce food waste to practically nothing.

I want to feel comfortable in myself because I never really have and it's about time I did

I know two people who had it. One recovered relatively quickly, in about 3 weeks, and the other had symptoms for several weeks and is still suffering from something that sounds like chronic fatigue syndrome, which her doctors think is an after-effect of the virus.

Drink more water, eat less salt

I love veggies, just not crazy about salad. Mainly because I can't stand raw tomatoes and every salad seems to involve them somehow! Except Cobb or Caesar salad, they're delicious but definitely not low calorie.

@MaltedTea I was semi-joking to be honest! I live in Edinburgh so you see haggis spiced chocolate and things in a lot of the tourist shops but I'm not all that surprised you can just buy the raw spices. Might get some myself, it would be great with chicken and lentils. On that note, haggis is delicious, and Scottish,…

I like having a group of people to chat back and forth and compare notes with. I've actually found it more motivating than anything else so far!

Haggis spice is delicious :p

I didn't at first, but have started doing so recently. It would be nice if you could curate your feed a little more to avoid seeing similar posts many times over

Congrats on the 10lbs! Sounds like we've got pretty similar plans in place, I skip breakfast in favour of less rabbit-foody dinners as well :D

I tried braised goat in Cuba a few years ago and it was one of the best things I've ever tasted

I used the LoseIt app for a while and thought it was pretty good, it was definitely less glitchy

I'm 5'9.5" and aiming for 140, but if I'm happy with how I look before I get there I'll aim for maintenance sooner

She's the UK Home Secretary. She recently read out a statement about UK coronavirus testing which included the number 334,974, but instead of saying three hundred and thirty four thousand, nine hundred and seventy four, she came out with "three hundred thousand and thirty four, nine hundred and seventy four thousand tests…

If you're in the UK, the Linda McCartney vegetarian sausages are really good. They don't taste like the real thing, but much lower in calories and really tasty.

Get a decent bike lock and bike insurance if you buy new and get a decent bike. It might be different near you, but where I am bikes and bike parts are being stolen constantly. If it's just a wheel bearing it would be cheaper to repair that than to buy a whole new bike. If you do decide to buy new, consider where you will…

Only 18° in Edinburgh, feel like we're missing out on all the sun! (Not that that's unusual for Scotland)

You might initially lose some water weight if you suddenly up your water intake drastically, but it won't cause you to lose weight long-term

I'm English, but now live in Scotland
