I often feel hungry and my calories are at 1270. Can’t offer much advice, last night I went to bed hungry and I thought I want to shove my face into the cookies in the cabinet, I didn’t and I woke up and didn’t die. I guess it’s ok to be hungry every now and again 🤷♀️

I think you have a good plan to talk to the doctor about medication changes especially if the side effects don’t outweigh the benefits, being diabetic myself, you crave sugar when your sugar is high, it’s the weirdest thing and hard to get past. But you can do it and all those hotdogs left over, I give you full permission…

Save yourself some calories for a snack before bed and just indulge a little with something small and sweet and still stay in calorie goal

I need iron anyway because I run low on iron levels. but I think it does help with metformin as well. Could always try for a couple weeks and see if you feel a difference

That totally sucks, you are going through something very hard for anyone. I recommend seeking a counselor and just be completely honest with them. And just focus on one day at a time, just choose one small thing to do each day and give yourself small wins, it may not seem like it but life will continue and you will be ok,…

I’ve been on metformin for 10 years I take 2 500 mg a day in the morning it did take a while for my body to adjust and I now take an iron pill with them and it seems to help I have diabetes and pcos

I had sleeve surgery in 2008, it changed my life I’ve found it hard to get under that 200 lbs mark even still but I’m 100 lbs light still today and not on insulin anymore nor on CPAP machine anymore and I’m grateful for every day I share my food diary if you’d like to be friends

You’ll be fine to start with that calorie goal. I kind of feel like whatever I’m doing to loose weight is also what I’ll need to continue to keep it off. These are life changes. Take it slow and set obtainable goals and don’t focus so much on the weight. I gained 2 lbs in a week that I only cheated once , my mind says it…
