TABLESPOON..LOL

A banana or apple with 1 TSP peanut butter on it?
-
Not, the stubble as it grows out is awful.

Congrats! You're doing awesome!

I was diagnosed with fairly severe asthma about a year into my new lifestyle. I would suggest walking at first & some strength training 2x/week. All in moderation & keep an inhaler close by. I am able to run & do whatever I want most days. I ran my first 5K in June. As the weight comes off, breathing should get easier. If…

Wow. I'm kind of disappointed with the responses that you got. Yes, I agree, as adults we have to take control of our own lives & what we put in our mouths. That is the greatest challenge, isn't it? However, it is uncomfortable when you feel like someone is purposely trying to undermine your goals & is not supportive. You…

HRM's do come without chest straps, but they are less accurate. I have a Polar FT7 & I love it!

Turning 46 on the 24th & still rockin' it! :)

I was a Diet Mountain Dew ADDICT for years. I started alternating & drinking carbonated water, a Kroger brand lemon-lime actually. It was a decent replacement. I haven't had soda in well over a year & now drink a variety of flavored waters. My favorite is actually the Walmart brand raspberry apple, but there are a lot of…

Sunshine, exercise, cleaning, banging classic rock music....good luck to you. I wish you well.

I have a FT7 & it does that if the transmitter isn't flat against my chest or if the strap isn't wet enough. Good luck.
-
Congrats! You rock! I hope to follow in your footsteps soon.
-
It's beautiful! Congrats!

I have the same problem. I try to snack of high fiber, filling things like sugar snap peas & grilled asparagus. I like casein protein shakes too; slow digesting & keep me full until morning.

Skinnytaste.com is a good website. I suggest trying to stick to whole foods; fresh fruit, veggies & lean protein that you cook yourself. Stay away from processed food; anything that comes in a can, box or package. Make one or two changes at a time so you don't get frustrated or overwhelmed. You'll feel amazing! Good luck!…

I am a medical professional, but I'm not going to quote any studies. All I can do is go by how carbs make me feel and that is BAD. I get nauseated, bloated, fatigued, get abdominal distention & gas. I try to eat very few carbs unless they come from fruit or vegetables, particularly after 5pm. I support individual choice,…

I like #1 on you the best, but #3 goes with the cowboy boots the best. The neckline on #2 isn't as flattering on you. You look fabulous! Congrats!

You can do this! I was/am a serious Diet Mountain Dew addict, to the tune of four 44 ouncers + a 6 pack a day. Soda, and yes, even diet soda, is horrible for you. It's bad for your teeth, it's a bladder irritant, it makes you pee out your calcium so it's bad for your bones, causes bloating & can make you retain water. Good…

If you haven't already done it, I would invest in some good running shoes. I would suggest being fitted by one of the places that specializes in this. We have aplace called "Runners" in my area & it has made all of the difference in the world for me.

I'm 45 & feel better than I have in years, maybe ever. Can't believe I'm the oldest one here! What's up with that? :)
-
Ditto. Totally agree with what the others have already said. Tomorrow's a new day. :)

I've had my Polar FT7 for 6 or 7 months & love it!
-
1/2 cup plain Chobani or Oikos greek yogurt with 1/2 cup of raspberries, blueberries or blackberries & 2 TBSP of fruit & nut or banana nut granola. Yum! I also use it in place of sour cream, used it in a spinach stuffed portabello mushroom & recently used it in place of mayo in an awesome chicken salad. LOVE THE STUFF! :)

I have a Polar FT7 that I LOVE. I've had it for 6 or 7 months & have not had any problems with it. I would highly recommend it.

Are you doing steady state cardio or HIIT?
-
Patience grasshopper! I CAN see a difference. In regards to targeting your thighs...squats, lunges or step ups holding dumb bells, leg curls, inner thigh machine, leg extension machine, walking, jogging...they've worked for me. Keep up the good work!

Congrats! You look awesome!
