I agree with eggs, especially hard-boiled. Any cooked greens have a sulfur-like smell while they are simmering/braising/boiling.

It's not quite the same, but my health insurance offers a rebate for gym membership. If you are a member of a gym for at least three months, you can apply for a 150 check to cover the costs.

I literally tried to climb up my husband last night to get some m&ms. If that is not the action of an addict, I don't know what is. Long story short -- Hubby keeps a candy dish of m&ms. I am having a serious sugar craving. He sees my headed toward the dish because I want some. He holds the dish over my head so I couldn't…

I don't think it is on the same level as heroin, but I do think there is an addictive quality to sugar. Science may not agree yet, but anecdotally I do think that there is something to it being an addiction, or at the very least a very bad and stubborn habit. Thank you so much for breaking down the science; it's very…

I am going off sugar too, and it does suck. Hubby and I have been trying for about a year to conceive with no luck. Got an ultrasound recently and it turns out that my ovaries look like I have PCOS, which can cause you to be infertile. My doctor's solution, and a solution found in one of my alternative medicine books, is…

* Select active activities to do that require you to walk, swim, etc. That way you burn calories to offset your splurges. * Make use of the hotel gym * Choose your restaurants and eating experiences wisely - don't just eat junk because you are "on vacation." Make the meals you choose to splurge on count, and eat as healthy…

Oh, and walkouts. Burpees are hard, but at least you have momentum to keep you going from one position to the next. Walkouts are just super slow and excruciating.

My trainer has me do two exercises I always fail spectacularly at --* Deadmills (but on all fours, which sucks even more butt than the original) * This thing where I push a weight plate covered with a towel across the floor. My body just gives out mid push and I fall on my knees and get carpet/floor/treadmill rubber…

Me too! Only I'm a vegetarian, and people generally expect me to eat it and love it. Blech.* I love roasted veggies. Almost every vegetable tastes great roasted. Faves are broccoli, cauliflower, corn (wrapped in foil with a little bit of butter or healthy fat), carrots and Brussel sprouts. * It's may be a little warm for…

Looking at the video, it wasn't a clean. The reverse curl definitely makes sense. I'll try that.

I am a vegetarian, but I like using nooch to add a cheesy flavor when I make vegan or dairy-free dishes -- like vegan mac n cheese or alfredo. I also use it as a general seasoning in almost everything --from popcorn to vegetarian meat substitutes to roasted broccoli. My mom would add it to her cornbread and it made it SO…

Last night was vegetarian sloppy joe sliders and tonight will be leftovers. May make roasted red potatoes as a side to add to the meal. It was easy and quick to make after a late evening gym run. I have some meyer lemons, and I would love to make a pasta or something fancy out of them, but I probably won't get home from…

Typical is around 1400-1900 depending on my activity. I recently set my calories back to 1200, and I ate within that the last workweek (I rarely log on weekends). Did two days of training back to back last week, with the lower calories, and no dizziness.
-
Did Zumba and ran intervals on the treadmill for 15 minutes tonight...no dizziness. Think it was the food issue or the way I breathe when I do calisthenics/weightlifting.

The last time it happened, I hadn't eaten anything at all for breakfast and went to training later in the morning. When I used to go at 5 a.m., I used to be able to not eat and still do well -- at least when I got a little bit more fit. I have regressed a little bit in terms of my conditioning, so maybe that's what's…

That day, I drank 40 oz of water while at work. I refilled the bottle, then drank about 8 oz before I went to go workout. I was thinking that maybe I drank too much before working out too, which could be part of the problem.
-
Oh wow. That's definitely a shocking way to find out! ...Maybe I should take a test when I get home. :/

no, never. Ever puked on somebody else or somebody else's belongings?

Thanks guys. Every time I go to the Dr. and they take my blood pressure, it is usually normal -- I go for a checkup this week, so I'll make a note of what my BP is. I ate a good amount of calories before I went to the gym, but not a lot of substantial food with high-protein (a small salad, fries, and baked chips as snacks)…

Yes, Canada, Costa Rica, Honduras, Belize and Mexico. Have you ever climbed a mountain?
-
No ... never even seen snow #Floridagirl Have you ever been hit on by someone who didn't speak the same language as you?
-
No. I know there are a couple of old guy friends who are still interested, but I think that whole grief process wouldn't enable me to pursue anybody else. What was the worst date you've ever been on?

The preppy jock who wears Lacoste polos, shorts and Sperrys.

Yes! Same question
