it has curbed my binge eating for sure. My doctor had no problem prescribing it, I did not even ask. The generic is only about $3 or $4. It does have some weird side effects and be sure to drink plenty of water. A lot people complain about headahces with it, but I noticed the headaches I developed were not from the meds,…

have you ever heard of the anti-jarred? He lost over 400 pounds and has kept it off. His story is very inspiring. He has a blog where he writes about weight loss and lots of other things. Even if you don't agree with his politcal views his weight loss story is very inspiring and motivational to me. You can google him.…

I fought my weight my entire life. I knew I needed to lose weight, but lacked the discipline, until we moved into a new house. The shower is directly across from the sinks with the huge mirror behind them. HOLY COW!! I did not like what I saw at all. I knew I could not keep looking at that every morning. I knew if I didn't…

This girl is poor. I check the grocery ads and look for BOGO deals on chicken and tilapia and buy those. I also check for markdowns in my favorite grocery store. The other day they had a bag of Perdue individually wrapped chicken breasts on sale and the expiration date was near so they had a $4.00 off coupon. I got the bag…

fat free greek yogurt. The extra protein really helps to get me over that late afternoon/early evening hump and I don't snack while preparing dinner.

^^^This. That stuff is amazing. We use before motorcycle rides and my son used before every football practice.

The only way to not offend people on MFP today is to not make a post, EVER! I never knew lasagna or the lack of lasagna noodles could bring about such persecution.

I will sometimes opt for cucumber slices.

Did not like the business of SP. MFP is also much more easy to navigate.

I am 5'4" and started at 218 at the age of 41. I lost 66 pounds in 9 months then fell off the wagon. My ticker is reset and I am back at it. My profile pic shows me at a size 18 at 218 pounds and then in a size 10 at 152 pounds. Currently around 170 and between size 10 and 12. I try to eat lean proteins and make sure that…

both of these. As my weight loss progressed my husband became very insecure. I had to reassure him several times that I was doing it for me, not him, and certainly not anyone else. He is loving it now because of the confidence and charisma that I have gained.

It's the vinegar. Our varsity football team keeps jars of pickle juice on the sidelines. I have a friend who sticks her tongue in a spoonful of vinegar and she swears the leg cramps are almost instantly gone.

If there were foods that we could eat that would "magically" make us all skinny, wouldn't we all be skinny.

The original Father of the Bride with Spencer Tracey and Elizabeth Taylor. I don't know why, but I just love that movie.

I have them occassionally. I just really don't desire them very much any more. But sometimes there are days that if I don't get a diet Mtn Dew, someone might lose a limb.

personally, simple is my favorite. I like to slice it add it to a hot sprayed skillet with some thinly sliced onion sprinkle with the seasoning of your choice and sautee until tender. It is also yummy kabobbed on the grill. I also like yellow squash cooked these ways and the 2 mixed together.

Congrats!!! NSVs are better than anything that shows up on the scale!
