Just done day 1. I hate jumping jacks! I'm so grateful for the abs and a lay down lol ;)
-

*bump* is this worth doing if you don't exercise that much??

Same here....my son passed his driving test last week and treated him to a MacDonalds, i had a burger and it was horrible, made me feel sick :( ....the previous week i had a fish from the chip shop and the fried batter made me sick too....no more fast food for me :-) my body is definitely telling me something

I've missed a couple of days too. I'm making sure i do at the 10 days at level 1 or i think i might die if i move to level 2! Day 10 today so i will see what tomorrow brings, help!

I just used a Boots scale for the first time this week. My weight seemed to be ok but it had my height shorter than i thought i was. I've just changed all my settings thinking it was accurate. Mmm?
-
Has anyone got weighed since they started? I've done 7 days of the shred and did my weekly weigh in this morning and the scale says i've lost 4lbs! Thinking there is something wrong with my scale lol

I had the same thing this morning

I second this. Cups are the 2nd best invention ever, Mirena being the 1st

Day 3 done. Really didn't want to do it today. Arms were aching and felt tired but glad i did as by the 2nd circuit felt quite energized. Upped my weights again on some of the things but not the side lunges, killers. Tried a proper push up but no chance lol. Might have to practise them outside of doing the dvd

Day 2 Level 1 done. Found the cardio a lot harder than yesterday, missed a couple of jumping jacks on 2nd and 3rd circuits. Used heavier weights today and got through all the strength ok. My god those last few bicycle crunches are a killer! When people say they are using 5lb weights, is that 5lb each hand or 5lb altogether?

I was confused at first too. I thought why bother to do the exercise if i've got to eat again. You'll lose weight anyway because you've cut your calories down from 2000 (average woman) to 1200 or whatever has MFP has set you. But then i realised that its exercise that increases your metabolism generally so you'll burn more…

I got a white shock absorber B109, level 4 sports bra from ebay. It was advertised as 'slightly yellow' but the one i received wasn't yellow at all. It was only £4.99 plus £1 postage. Here's a link to one in your size …

Just completed day 1. Managed to do it all without stopping which surprised me. Only thing i struggled with was the jump ropes, hurt my knees so modified that a bit. Wonder how i'll feel in the morning! Good luck everyone

Count me in too. Just got the dvd this morning and had a look at level 1 and it looks hard work on the knees. Any suggestions for modifications in case my knees play up? Taken measurements and photos today, will weigh in the morning too.

This makes me feel sooo much better, thought it was just me!

Age: 48 Weight: 191 lbs Height: 5'10" Sex: F Body Fat: 39.2% Daily Cals: 1200 Have not been eating my exercise calories so far due to my high body fat %. Was thinking of adjusting when that % drops. Will be interested to see the outcome of this as i've read so many different opinions on whether to eat them or not
