I cross stitch and make cards (although wedding invitations have taken over) for friends and family; just try to keep my hands busy so I'm not eating or thinking about food.

Not sure if this has been asked or mentioned before. Has anyone tried this in a muffin tin, instead of cake pan? If so, how did it turn out?

I find when I feel bloated I drink hot water with a slice of lemon, it seems to help me feel better. But if it something you are constantly dealing with I would go to the doc to get it checked out.

I'm 5'3" currently at 129, working my way to 120, but I'm trying not to focus on the scale, but in how I feel and clothes fit. I'd love to see my abs this summer when I go camping and pretty much live in my bathing suit (maybe even a bikini this year!)

I'm not doing P90X currently, but I missed a week with P90 and am going to be doubling up next week to get back on track with where I should be. I usually have 1 double up day a week, due to my work hours on the weekend, it's hard for me to get a workout in so either Fridays or Mondays are double days. That being said,…

Bridal Show with my mom...hoping to avoid the cake samples!

Hey, I'm planning on starting P90 tomorrow too! I'm looking forward to the challenge!

I'm in the same boat, he hasn't asked, but I know he's bought the ring (I have small fingers and had to go with him to get it sized). So now I'm just waiting for the proposal...which is a little nerve wreaking!! Definitley want to be in shape for the big day!

I have hypoglycemia, and used to get the shakes regularly due to my sugar being too low. I always keep some hard candies (tic tacs, jolly ranchers) in my purse. In addition, when I feel them start or start to feel light headed I try to grab a fruit to keep me going until I can get to something more filling. I keep the…

I would enjoy my self as much as possible. That said I'd probably log as much as I could too, just to keep track of things, but I wouldn't worry about going over my net calories. Enjoy yourself, have a safe and wonderful trip!

sounds soooo yummy! I can't wait to try it

Last year I was the paper bag princess from the Robert Munsch (?) book. I just took a leaf bag turned it inside out and cut holes for my arms and head to go though and wore black leggings under, and made a crown with yellow construction paper...it was quick and easy. Plus I work in a school, so it had to be something they…

I like it and use it when I know I don't have time for a full workout session.

Thanks for all the ideas!!!! I'm sure I'll be doing a lot more at work then sitting in front of the computer from now on!!

I find keeping my hands busy, usually reading or cross stitching will keep me from reaching for food

This used to happen to me, I think it has to do with circulation and water. I found if I drink 1-2 cups of water before starting it didn't happen.

Hey! Someone posted this website a few days ago and it seems really good, http://randomabs.com, it has a different ab routine everyday. I've only done 2 days and I can feel it working. Plus, you can sign up to get the daily routine to your email or cell phone. Good luck!

For me it was a little harder. I had to miss a day, so I decided to do week 3 again...not sure I'm ready for week 4.

I hear ya...I'm feeling the same way today!

Treadmill...I find I can push myself more with set speed and inclines, whereas if I was outside I'd probably walk the whole way.

I think you have to allow yourself cheat foods once and a while, completely restricting thesefoods will make you crave them more. At least that's what happens to me. So, if I have a cheat food/meal once and a while, I dont feel as restricted.

I struggle with the same issue, but I find if I have something to keep my hands busy and less likely to go for food. For example, I cross stitch, so when I start to crave food I tell my self I have to finish up to a certain point, by the time I get there I've forgotten about the craving. Hope that helps!

I do this with chocolate, break bigger bars into smaller (calorie controlled) portions and put them in the freezer.
