People that have done the C25K before; are you doing anything differently this time? I live in South Texas and it's always to hot to be outside. This time I'm running outside instead of a treadmill.

I see a lot of people have been posting. How is everyone doing? I had family staying last week and had to put running on hold. Started back with Week 2 today. Everyone feel free to add me and stay motivated!!

I think glutamine and stretching is about all you can do. But honestly it it still be sore. So, taking a pain reliever would be okay. I will probably be blasted for advising this but a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, such as ibuprofen (motrin, alleve, etc) or a comparable medication. The muscle has been injured and…

You could fly into Houston Texas rent a car and drive to New Orleans and then over to the Mississippi Gulf Coast. My wife and I had the same dilemma when we went to the UK. So we toured from London down to the stonehenge then to Cardiff and then up to Northern Wales before coming back to London. So, there is a lot to do…

I did a Spartan Sprint a year ago. I was part of 5 or 6 person team and was the last to finish in the team. The people that organize are very serious about it but it's still a fun event to do. That is if you are into running 3 miles uphill and a mile in a pond carrying buckets, jumping over fire, doing burpees when you…

Chest shoulders and Tris video cool down: Tony- Hey ____ what are you stirring in your pot? Guy- I'm stirring up trouble. Then Tony gets mad for him telling a better joke than Tony.
-
Definitely!! Week five and I see a thinner me. I've been trying to cut down the weight for the last two years and always get discouraged by not seeing results. Dedication to diet played the "X" factor for me but I give big props to P90x
-
After doing the videos a few times the jokes become funnier to me. I guess it's bc they are so corny.
-
W5D1 yesterday... Shoulders Tri's and Chest but had to cut it in half due to time constraints. I was bummed out about that.
-
My wife and I can't wait!!!!
-
W4D4--- instead of resting I did sprints and calisthenics. Looking forward to week 5.
-
Come on hit play!!!! You can do it.

Okay, I had previously said stretching and massage and water to recover.....screw that I'm having to take Motrin now. As a former athlete and bodybuilder I followed the no pain no gain mantra. Now as a 39 y/o I have to say it's okay to take pain reliever as needed.
