Hello Lorena, welcome to MFP. Hope you have success and your back feels better.

Hello. Welcome to MFP. 🙂

I too have BED. Bodyslims has helped me A LOT. The leader is a recovered alcoholic, so he addresses participants in this mindset. I likely will always struggle with BED, but Bodyslims has improved my mental health quite a bit to where I can stop myself much faster. I've completed one 10-week series and lost 27#. Looking…

Thank you, I accepted. I wonder why there aren't more BodySlims folks on MFP. The calorie counter on BodySlims is pretty awful, so I use MFP to calculate then transfer over. I'm loving BS!!

Hi there, how's your knee?

Good morning from Seattle. Room for one more? I'm focusing on sleep and exercise this coming month. Thanks to my FitBit (a gift a year ago) I now know that I'm failing miserably in the sleep department. DH leaving tomorrow with DS2 for a hockey tournament. I'm working from home all week with DS1 to keep me company, so it a…

Janice, will you please watch the documentary "Forks Over Knives" on Netflix? It shows how you can lower your cholesterol very quickly with diet (and no drugs, mine dropped 80 points in 2 months) and your blood pressure. It's very interesting and motivating. If you decide to watch it, then have questions, let me know. Laura

Dr. Furhman's Eat to Live diet is lower in carbs than most. He sets limits on the amount of grain and starchy veggies in a day, but no specific carb gram amount. Check it out.

Awesome success. Great job!

Well done! The healthy, fit body is the cherry on top for all the other work you've done, including being a mom in the middle of all this personal growth.

Thank you. I need inspiration as well. Please friend me if you like, and Rachel too.

Hi, I watched FOK 2.5 years ago and have been vegan since. I missed cheese for a little bit (no longer) and spent about 6 weeks staring into the frig each night, trying to figure out what to cook, but it's all so much easier now. Travelling was a little hard at first, but I've got that down now too, but still learning of…

Yes, a big change. Sometimes our "mind's eye" can't see it -- the gain or the loss -- but the camera does and we do. Good job!

How about a photos for your wall of a rhino, an elephant, a horse, and gorgeous Mr. Rip Essylstein (or any other vegan athlete). Google "images vegan athletes" and you'll get a ton. I don't know if they all follow 80/10/10, but Rip and Scott Jurek do.

I found watching the documentary "Forks Over Knives" 2 years ago very inspiring and turning point for me. I haven't looked back. You can watch it on Netflix - hope it has the same inspiring effect on you.

Congrats! So inspiring. Thank you for sharing. Please don't run with your phone in your bra, there have been cases of breast cancer in young women (with no other risk factors) associated with phones repeatedly placed against a breast. You will make that 160!

We choose organic at every opportunity, for the health of our family, for the health of the pickers that labor in the fields, and for the health of the planet. The avoidance of chemical herbicide, pesticide, fungicide, and fertilizer stuff is the real deal, not a do-gooder-gone-nuts. Please consider it. Local farmers'…
