I'd have to agree. I started my weight losses doing full body exercises like JM30DS. Since starting to lift weights I have stopped lossing weight but cm's are still being shredded of the waist line. I now have muscle definition in my upper body where it was rounded six months ago. Lifting weights rocks.

Ray, Im at 185cm and 92kg, and my scales say Im at 18% bf, I am still losing the cms around the gut but putting on the weight. so I say about 90kg is where I'll end up. Guess it all depends on your build.

If your training harder your more then likely putting weight on due to muscle growth, but losing fat at the same time. Try and limit the high sugar fruits to the few hrs after intense exercise.

In my protein shakes, makes it nice and creamy like a smoothie. Before bed with some berries and walnuts. Like some of the other suggestions, will try a few out, except for the sweeteners, Only sugar I eat is already in the food.

Im glad to see that I'm not alone. I have to admit that I am a lot more calorie aware since using MFP I'm just not relying on it to get me to my goals. Im loving my food more now then ever before and watching my body change for good makes me so happy. Cheers to Healthy Eating!!!

What would be good if people actually supported their claims with references from the scientific journals they are getting their information from.

Well done Ray. Good to see that you are pleased with your results.

I'd say it has to do with the quality of the food you are eating. I have no Idea of what Bacon dipper crackers are, however they don't sound like a healthy snack option. Try eating more healthier snacks like a piece of fruit or some nuts. Personally I have some berries and Greek Yoghurt

My nutritional advisor has advised me to never ever go on a diet. It is all about eating the right foods at the right times. For example every meal should have a serve of Protein, Low energy Carbohydrates, & Essential Fats. So say a peice of meat , Veggies and a fish oil capsule is a standard meal for myself. I aim for 6…
