I stress over what to have, too. The number I am cooking for is always changing, and sometimes on short notice. I have 3 teens at home that will sometimes suddenly make plans with friends so that I have either a gazillion bodies in my living room snacking on things I shouldn't, or I am home alone with the snacks. It is possible that your metabolism has increased? When I lose fat, but build lean muscle, I can eat more. Perhaps drink a glass of water, and if you're still hungry, eat something healthy. Then you are giving your body something good.

Sometimes I fix my plate for the meal, then save half of it for my snack. Eating more frequently helps me eat less, as long as the snack is well planned.

This site is very helpful to record what is eaten, but not in teaching how to eat. I have found that increasing my protein helps keep the hunger away. Try having eggs, a lean meat, or a protein shake. You might still go over your goal, but probably not as much. And probably with less hunger. I'm trying to do it in 1280.…
