That was my thought process and why I figured 6 sizes.

Haha.. opps. Thanks for pointing it out

Thank you :)

I do the keto diet myself. Counting calories got me a short distance but then I got stalled. Even going to the gym 5 days a week, doing low calorie every day and my weight wouldn't budge under 160. Gave up and gained 20 back. Then went sugar free / low carb and lost all that weight + some without even touching the gym. I…

Thanks for the advice everyone. I'm going over to the Low Carber forums to do research.

Boiled Eggs. I just peal them and go.

You can do it! You know how it works and that it does work. You just have to find that motiviation and patience. Have you thought of buying yourself a motivation dress? Something that you want to fit into or something you once fit into that you can put where you will see it and remind yourself why you are doing this?

Sending you a friend request :)

3-5 with 3 being my minimum and 5 being my max. I always take Wednesday and Sunday off to give my body a break and get other things done.
-
I weigh myself every Wednesday first thing in the morning, nude and after the bathroom. That way it can be consistent. However, I try not to weigh more than that because this less about a number and more about the fit of my clothes and how I feel about myself when I look in the mirror. The number just makes sure I am on…

The only thing that really bothers me is when people come in wearing perfume because they don't want to stink but end up stinking worse because of the perfume. I really hate when I walk out after my workout with a headache. I had one gal get on a treadmill next to me that had so much perfume on I wanted to spray her down…

I only eat back about 1/3 or 1/4 of the calories that are logged as burned. You can't trust the numbers so I don't chance it.

We just have to remember those non-scale goals and accomplishments :)

I'm almost to 30 pounds down and I am finally starting to see subtle differences. It is hard because we look at ourselves daily so we are the least likely to notice the changes. Hang in there and you will see the differences.

That is great! Thanks for sharing

I love how people are obsessing over the verb I used rather than the message. Hopefully I helped someone out there. I'm out.

That is something I had to learn over the last year. If I get emotional, I try to suck down some more water to keep myself from stress eating.

I have had plenty of people refer to any meal that is not "healthy" as a cheat meal. And I don't mind calling it a cheat meal but just like the entire topic of this thread, to each their own.

Exactly  . Nothing wrong with having a day now and then where you don't log and eat what you want as long as you are happy and it doesn't make you give up. I only lost 25 pounds all of last year and gained some of that back over x-mas break. But I'm in this for the long haul so I don't really care. My goal this year…

I still go a little over on my sodium intake but I drink a lot of water and work out 4 days a week. It is a balancing act really. Your body loses sodium when you sweat and if you drink a lot water you can flush some of the sodium out. I usually allow myself to go over a little on the daily recommended sodium here on MFP on…

I'm very close to OPs height and weight. I tried 1200 calories a day and couldn't drop any weight. MFP told me to eat 1350. I put my calorie intake up to 1400 and now drop lots of weight.
-
It can depend on how much you are trying to lose. As you get closer to ideal weight for your height, age, etc.. the weight lose is slow. However, I did have a similar experience to you where I worked hard and wasn't dropping weight. I looked at my sodium intake and my water intake. Sodium was high and water was low (I was…

This. I had 2 full 20 oz sodas over the weekend to make up work out calories that I had not eaten back and still lost 2.2 pounds. I also didn't weigh myself the day after I had the sodas. I had them on Saturday and I weigh myself every Wednesday.

You just can't go wrong with fresh fruits and veggies. Almost everything you find is going to be filling and low calorie.
-
The idea that you shouldn't eat after a certain time because you can't digest food at night is an old wives tale. Ignore that unless you have some kind of medical condition. In which case, your doctor will tell you when.

This is what I was looking for. Thank you  My MFP is linked to my fitbit. The 58 calories was here on MFP coming over from my fitbit. I was ignoring the 2184 because it wasn't right but I assumed that the calories coming over from fitbit to MFP was based on that 2184 and was causing me to be off on calories burned…
-
For now I did a simple calculation. The resting calories that fitbit uses for no activity is 1 calorie a minute. I calculating that in a day to 720 calories + 1400 per day in calories I'm eating = 2120 calories. I've set that as my base for now which is close to what fitbit had me set to.
-
I'm starting to think I should just stick with this. The fitbit is definitely motivating me more and it isn't like I eat my calories back (I use them for cheat meals on the weekend but try to watch that I don't go way over what I earned). The extra stairs can just be bonus and left off. I'm just obsessed with numbers and…

Good idea. I'll do that
