Following this for help / ideas. I'm 10 weeks pregnant and about 30kgs over weight. Whilst I know I'll of course gain weight through pregnancy, I'd ideally like to lose some of the 'bad weight' while gaining the 'baby weight'. If you know what I mean.

First thing in the morning on a Friday is my chosen day. Why? My weekends are my ease off exercise days and I allow myself my naughty treats then too. Mon - Fri I tend to work off the damage and then some so Friday I've found is my best day to officially log. In saying that I weigh every day too lol.

Thanks guys. I'm 1/4 of the way there so i figure i must be starting at the bottom and working up. thighs / bum for the next quarter, then belly, then arms... haha

Nearly time for our first weigh in. Unless something huge changes overnight I'm not going to see a huge change on the scales. I'm slowly accepting that as a reformed couch potato, any amount of exercise and healthy eating is repairing the damage to my inside which is far more important than what I see in my mirror everyday.

I bought a new scale and gained 6kgs from what the dodgy old one said. I'm over the disappointment now and just happy knowing i get a legitimate reading.

As others have said, you can't have your cake and eat it. If you want to binge drink and satisfy the munchies then you might as well stop wasting your time dieting. Work out the calories of the 'naughty', work out the amount of exercise required to burn it off and add that to your weeks worth of exercise. I don't like the taste of water but i manage to get my 8 or more glasses without a second thought. How? 3 things - i sip water while i'm exercising. A mouthful here a mouthful there. Doesn't take long to disappear and when you're hot and sweaty with dry mouth it could be salt water for all i care. I leave a glass beside…
