  • That's amazing! Congratulations on your progress! Keep it up :)
  • How about making your own veggie chips? I love home-made potato or sweet potato chips. A lot of people like them too, and you could put out condiments like garlic powder and salt and chili flakes to give them more flavor if your friends want. Also, I like to divide up my wine with club soda and make it into a wine…
  • ^^^ this. People have different body types - everyone's different. As long as you're sure that you're living a healthy lifestyle and are happy - you're doing great! Don't be concerned with what others look like - you're on your own journey.
  • I love curry powder or chili pepper flakes! A little heat really kicks it up a notch and I don't miss the saltiness as much!
  • 24 year old right here! Feel free to add me, I always love new friends to encourage and be encouraged by! :)
  • 24, and loving it :) add me if you want!
  • My goal is around 125, but I know it's going to be a while before I get there. I do a lot of strength training along with my cardio and I'd rather be strong and lean than worry about the numbers too much and get flabby :)
  • If you're a fan of korean food - then yeah, korean food is pretty healthy (well, maybe except for the sodium!!!). I love all the na-mul (veggies sauteed with sesame oil and usually some salt), and jjigae (stews, usually spicy). Be careful about the rice! A lot of restaurants will serve white rice unless you ask them if…
  • I weigh once a week because I don't like to think too much about the little fluctuations your body goes through. It keeps me sane! But on the other hand, weighing yourself every day is actually a great tool for you to learn more about your body - like if I "gain" a pound or two I think about what I had to eat the day…
  • I gave up diet soda a couple months ago - I had a difficult time! I was pretty addicted (drinking about a liter a day!) and I found that the hardest part was the withdrawal (? If you can call it that) that I went through. Not sure if everyone that's given up aspartame/diet soda went through what I did but I had horrible…
  • I followed the program until week 7 when I got sick for about 2 weeks! But there was a charity 5k for my job and I really wanted to participate so I did! And I made it to the finish line!!!! I was really surprised at my time and the sheer joy I felt. Lots of encouragement going out to all of you :) You can do it!! There…
  • Congratulations! That's awesome!
  • I'm 5'6.5" and small framed according to the NIH - even though I've always considered myself more medium. GW is 134 for now, but I might lower it once I hit it. CW is 139.
  • Just finished the week 5 day 3 today! It was definitely a big jump from running 8 minutes to running 20, and I definitely had to grit my teeth through the last couple of minutes but man, what a great feeling to know I did it :) I don't think I've ever run two miles straight in my life.
  • I just finished Week 5 Day 2 yesterday so tomorrow's the scary 20 minute run for me! Feel free to add me - trying to gain some motivation to lose those last few pounds.
