You can add me as well. Currently, I have 30 to lose.

Check out the cookbook "Get it Ripe," by Jae Steele. She has fantastic recipies, and I believe they are all vegan as well. I love her stuff.

try "lovely jubblies" from lush. it's an awesome firming cream (& it smells pretty too)
-
Greek yogurt is a great way to add protein as well.

i don't call myself an artist, but i think the best description i've heard of myself is that "i'm.....creative" (it's the pause between the words that makes me giggle). i paint & draw & burlesque & bad kareoke & act.....

I second (third? - not sure how many people have aggreed with it yet, whatever) reading Christopher Moore's 'A Dirty Job.' It is a fantastic book. I wasn't a fan of the final bit of the book, but the rest of it was fantastic - i've never read a book that made me laugh out loud that much. i try to pawn that book off on…

have a cup of cocoa. not hot chocolate, cocoa. with a little bit of sugar or honey & milk. i find that helps my chocolate cravings, and it properly celebrates the blizzard we got in my town this morning.

weight is a funny thing. you mentioned that you lost some inches. the weight could be muscle, or water as well. i say keep at what you're doing. excercising three times a week is awesome. maybe you just need to give yourself a little more time. you'll start to see positive results.

Currently three tattoos. I'm considering getting a large one on my thigh in the next little while. hair is black, roots need to be made to match again though... Someone mentioned being concerned about corsets and a belly ring - I've known people to use a type of tape over the piercings to make sure nothing gets caught. It…

Are you stressed out? That could bring on a hive reaction. Try having a bath with some baking soda in it, or put some oatmeal in an old kneehigh, tie it off, and toss it into the tub with you. Hope you feel better soon. =[

Try bringing along a lot of high fiber veggies as snacks. They don't add a lot of calories, and help to fill you up.

That's great - Congrats!

Another really twisted character is Lui from Snakes and Earrings. She's so self destructive, it's painful....but an interesting read.

I'll say Emma, from . . . . . Emma. I'm reading it right now, and I just want to smack the little twit.

You look super happy

I don't eat a lot of breads/pastas (potential gluten intolerance in my home), and currently have a fixation on raw peppers. I found when I ditched the fun carbs, I started to lose weight faster.

Try some yoga and zumba classes!

Fantastic! Yay!

Something that helped me quit was tallying up all the money I would spend on smokes for a week/month/year. Take that money, put it aside, and use it to spoil youself once you have reached a certain point. I like to do this anually (It turned out that I smoked 1500$ in a year - and I was buying the cheap ones - EEEP. Now,…

I think that I will keep coming back to this thread every once in a while and give it a few more lines. Reminding youself of what you are thankful for every day is a great way of getting youself emotionally "fit"

Spoil youself in a way other than food. Give yourself an at home pedicure (or if you can, go out and get one professionally done). Walk to the movie store and rent one of your favourite movies, or treat youself to a yoga class. I hope your day starts to look up.

Awesome job! I love those pics as well.

I'm thankful that I can vote. I'm thankful that I can work. I'm thankful that I have choices. I'm thankful that I can speak my mind. I'm thankful that I can walk safely to work. (I'm thankful I can walk.) I am thankful that I can breath.

Make a smoothie with a l o t of fruit in in and toss in some whey/soy protein powder. Put it in a travel mug, and drink it as you want over the morning. I find that helps me ward off hunger before lunch time.

I keep my water seperate from everything else. I have another portion of my diary called "Drinks" where all the other fun things go.

stack your fridge with snacks that you won't feel guilty about eating. There's some 0 calorie foods (foods that apparently take more energy to digest than they provide) that you may like. I don't know if Zero Calorie foods are a myth, or not, but I keep some celery and cucumber sticks in the fridge as some go to foods, and…
