Hi! Welcome to MFP! I'm from Oregon, USA but currently live in Germany. I have family who live near Helsinki. :) I visited them in March and then got stuck there in a meter of snow. haha. Though, I got to explore Tampere, and that was a neat city. I loved the Muumi museum. Haha. Wish you the best of luck!

Wow... I think I would look like a sick twig if I went down to or past 120. I don't even think I could weigh that much anymore anyway, the last time I weighed that much was freshman year of High School. Height 5'3.75" HW 192 SW 187 CW 177 GW 135-145 Man, to even see 140 again would be a miracle. LOL.

You could ALWAYS add in a whole tbsp of the Hershey's Cocoa Powder (you know the baking cocoa powder) for 10 whole calories and it would really chocolate it up!!

taking a totally of 3 days off for shin splints. :( Hopefully back on the JM wagon on Monday... Doing some modified Jumping Jacks, Butt Kicks and Jump Rope... *sigh*

Level1, Day8 Completed!! As much as I want to do all the exercises that JM has for Level1, 30DS, I think I am going to have to improvise some of the cardio ones. My shins are killing me... :( Do you have any suggestions for something to do instead of jump ropes, and butt kicks?? I was trying out high knees instead of butt…

Punches are great to get the heart rate up and the body warm. Along with arm crosses and windmills. :)

I am using 5lb weights and have a hard time doing all the exercises (except the ... wow... Brain fart... standing rows, that's it)... So I don't think upping the weights will do me any good. I still have a hard time finishing most of the work outs. But it is getting easier. I didn't think I was SO out of shape! haha on me!…

I am definitely doing 30DS without shoes from yesterday on, because in my shoes my feet would always get crampy... I think my feet were trying to grip in the shoe... And it was just plain uncomfortable!

Just finished Day7, Level 1!! Still sweaty. Shins still hurt, going to try some new stretches that some people suggested (thanks by the way!!). Other muscles are NOT sore at all. I did 5 whole grown up push ups today!! They're still super hard for me! I hope I can do 6 tomorrow!! Still sweaty... Not noticing any inches…

I wish I could start seeing some results. The only results I have seen so far (and today will be day7, will update when I complete the work out) is my endurance... I haven't seen any results in inches... and haven't been to the gym to weigh myself. Any suggestions?

Shin splints?? Could you tell me more about them?? I am afraid that I may have them, but I don't know for sure if it would be that, or muscles?? My shin... area was FINE for the first 4-5 days, but then yesterday they started to hurt really bad. But it could just be muscles?? I don't know... They feel fine ish when working…

Just finished Day 6, Level 1 of 30DS!! Still as sweaty as ever!! lol. I wonder when a good time to advance to level 2 is?? When you can do all the exercises the advanced way?? Or when you're not sore anywhere anymore?? Or when you sweat less?? What do you think?

I did end up shredding today!! :) It was awesome. And guess what?! DAY 4, NOT SO SORE!! YAY!! I sure did sweat a lot though!! Maybe it was much hotter in my house than previous workouts! It is going to be SO darn cool to do this for 30 days straight! It will be such a feat!
