  • I could use some new friends too! Jumping back on the wagon and most of the ones I had before have moved on. :)
  • Chocolate. Chocolate of any kind is the devil!
  • Wow, great job! I'm so impressed! You look fantastic. :)
  • Wow, great job! I'm so impressed! You look fantastic. :)
  • This sounds SO GOOD! I would probably modify the dressing away from bleu cheese and toward ranch somehow, but YUM!
  • Be patient! I know it SUCKS when you feel like it's all for nothing... but as my dad loves to point out, "we didn't get to ___ pounds overnight, we're not going to take it off overnight either." :) Keep at it, take a second look at your settings in MFP, and then follow them. If a couple more weeks go by and still no…
  • You'll be so glad that you did. The people here are amazing and the system works! Welcome!
  • Too funny, I never even thought of the benefit of bouncing now and then just for fun. Who can have a bad day while bouncing up and down on a ball?! ;) Thanks!
  • You look outstanding! Thanks for being an inspiration to the rest of us! :)
  • Welcome! This site is FANTASTIC. I wish you luck with your goals! I've been having a hard time staying on track, but every time I read one of these posts I feel renewed motivation!!

  • That sounds awesome!!
  • You're reading it right! It's confusing though. (I don't have that kind here to check, but I've been down this road before!) I think you entered the right info. There's only one reason I've ever come up with for the different info pre-popping and post-popping, and I'm not sure it's right, but it's the only one that makes…
  • Hi Kat! I think you're going to love it here. Like you, I have trouble sticking to things when it comes to weight loss. I think you're going to like it here - everyone is very supportive and the site is the perfect mix - plenty of resources, but not so much to do that it becomes a big chore. I wanted to say one thing in…
  • You all ROCK. I feel better about Eggos now!! I thought I was the only person who put peanut butter on waffles... good to know that's not the case! I've never eaten them without syrup though. There are some great suggestions here, I'll have to try them! THANK YOU!!
  • Incredible!!!! Thank you so much for sharing those! Posts like yours keep me going!
  • Hi, nice to meet you! (I love your profile pic! I'm a Disney nut.) You'll love it here! It's the only site that's ever kept my attention for more than a week or two!
  • Here, here!
  • I passed up a FREE McDonald's breakfast with my aunt yesterday in order to go home and eat my Kashi and yogurt. I was pretty proud!! Great job everybody!!!!!!!
  • Hi Candice, it's great to meet you! This site is FANTASTIC. It's not too complicated, not too time-consuming, and incredibly supportive. I find it easier to stick to in terms of entering foods and exercise than anything else I've tried (including pay sites)! I wish you luck on your journey. You can do it!

  • 42 days, that's awesome! I smoked for six years, which I know isn't that long compared to some people. But I quit on 2/9/02 and haven't looked back! Keep it up!
  • Yayyyyy! Congrats!!!
  • Mac and cheese is one of those foods that I'm having a really hard time letting go of! I'm embarrassed to admit that I used to eat it about twice a week. I've been looking for a healthier recipe!
  • Yup, the nutritionist I saw a couple years ago told me to aim for 30, but that more was fine too as long as I was drinking water. It really can't hurt you unless you get really ridiculous with it!
  • Welcome!! Congrats on your degree!! I will receive mine in July. Unlike you, I dropped out on my first try and went to work for a few years before going back to finish it. Better late than never, though! Glad to see you here, it's an amazing community.

  • I also weigh daily. That said though, I don't get hung up on the day to day numbers. I usually weigh "officially" on Saturday mornings, but not always. I just like to know where I am. Plus, frankly, seeing the icky number in the morning helps me stay motivated to eat right throughout the day.
  • Hi Stacemiester! ;) This is definitely the place. You and I have a lot in common! I'll be 33 in July and have exactly 90 pounds to go from here. I've tried a bazillion different things but the MFP system is truly working for me. Free, simple, not too time consuming or cumbersome for keeping track of your food/exercise, and…
  • Oooh, I'm glad you posted this. I've heard it used in "healthy" circles but I've always been scared to try it. Now I'll see if I can find some!
  • Welcome! I love this place so far. :)
  • Subway all the way... my fave is a 6" veggie on wheat without cheese. I do put mayo on mine, if I'm doing okay on calories for the day. Delicious and not too heavy!
