Exercise, no matter how badly you want to stay in bed. Most of us don't have the option to stay in bed so we just suck it up. If coffee helps, drink up. Dark chocolate also seems to work and it doesn't have as much junk in it as some of the other bad choices PMS drives us to. Lots of water. I don't encourage synthetic…

That's the education system in the U.S. for you. Don't want to teach kids more than they already know. They might realize there's a whole different world outside Utah. I hope Tim Torkildson makes a killing off this. You know people are watching him now. :D

I'm curious as to whom the writer of the original story was. I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that person does not run more than 20 miles per week. I bet he's embarrassed right about now. Oops. The rule in life, moderation. It's all relative.

Here's y next race description Start and finish at base camp. This is a single loop course in mountainous terrain, with 11.7 miles of fire roads and 4.0 miles of single-track trails. (This loop includes the 4-mile Bulldog Mountain climb to 2,528 ft. elevation.)

Struggling a bit today, wanting a yummy nummy chocolate filled creamy, moist cupcake. Dang PMS! "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels". Do they make a cupcake with that quote! Probably bad for sales.

Bread (carbs in general) is my enemy! I've cut it out for the past couple weeks and replaced with clean eating and lots of spinach and eggs. I've…

I'm having a rough patch lately but have not delved into the cupcakes my husband bought the kids from my favorite cupcake shop. I do play to take my reward on Feb 1 for the cupcake I will have worked very hard to get. However, it will be a small one from Georgetown cupcakes and then I would gladly continue on with you. But…

Good luck tomorrow, Ally. I'll keep you in my prayers. Great job backing away from the wine. I did have cake on January 1. My daughter was so sick on her birthday Dec 31 that we had a doover on Jan 1. Other than that, if they could just shut down all these cupcake shops :D

Cupcakes and cake are my guiltiest of pleasures. Do to my daughter's birthday, I will be starting the challenge on Jan 1. Her birthday is Dec 31.

I just bought Women's Newton Running Distance U. I'm hoping they get here tomorrow in time for my Sunday run. I'll fill you in on the details. Right now I wear Asics Kayano and I love them. I've had to retire my rotation Mizuno and thought I'd try out the Newton's after seeing some amazing reviews. I got the Newtons…

Congratulations on your first half marathon and I bet the first of many to come! Los Angeles Marathon is the same way with some 25k people. It's tough to reach a goal finish time with that first mile being an avg 13 minute pace. Fortunately there are 25 more miles to catch up. It's always nice to see a familiar face along…

Yay! We rock! Let me know when you all do this again, I'll be overjoyed if you invite me on your trip.

I would have said, "no big deal" about 5 1/2 months ago when I ran a marathon with the flu, which turned into pneumonia, caused scarring because I put off going to the doc to avoid someone telling me not to run. This in turn gave me an epic fail and chest pains at Kona marathon. And now I have exercise induced asthma that…

You might try using some ultrasound gel under your strap or even licking (ew, but it works) the sensors on the strap if it starts acting goofy. Usually my strap acts silly until I get sweaty enough for it to stick to me. I've also read that you can wear the sensors on your back.

Tues - 673 Wed - 568 Thurs - 791 I've been on my girl time this week so my energy levels are lacking. First week of homeschool too so that's definitely taking a toll of my workout time. Next week should be more encouraging. :D
