  • They say basically the same things about chemical sugar substitutes. I'd rather put something taken directly from a plant in my body then a chemical like aspartame. I'll look into what you said tho.
  • Try sweetening things with Stevia. It's a great option that doesn't get processed by your body the same way as sugar does. It's natural and not an artificial sweetener. You can pick it up a health food stores and many regular grocery stores now.
  • This. I've never worn a bikini.
  • Google aspartame. I dumped out my last soda with aspartame in it after reading about two articles about it. I haven't had a diet soda since. I also just found out my Light and Fit yogurt has aspartame in it and I won't eat that now either. Soda is horrible for you all around. There is not one thing that soda does for you…
  • I've been on the hypothyroid meds for about a month now. My pharmacist told me that it was very important to take the meds on an empty stomach. She said the meds will attach to fats if there's food and just pass right though without getting absorbed. I'm glad she told me as I always take vitamins and meds with food.
  • I quit about a year and a half ago. I went to AA for a few months to get me through the hardest part. It helped tremendously. I highly recommend it. I don't go anymore but whenever I feel a craving I know it's there for me. The thing that occurred to me was that people who don't have a problem don't have to see how long…
  • My wedding date is April 15th 2012 5' 1" Start weight- 126 Current weight -124 Goal weight -115 Weigh in day - Saturday mornings How much you hope to lose this week - 1lbs
  • $50 is totally worth it. I would. Don't worry about putting out the sales people. This is probably the least of their problems as far as customers. You're not yelling at them for something or being a wench. You just want the discount and that's totally understandable.
  • The last time I tried running I got shin splints too. This time I researched "toe running" and bought some shoes called Newtons. (There are lots of toe running shoes out there though.) Now when I run my heels don't take any weight my toes do. It's a technique and the shoes just help a bit. You can actually do this…
  • Burger King, Wendy's, Arby's or McDonald's every day (sometimes twice a day) and a whole six pack of Dr. Pepper.
  • I've been tattooing for 13 years and this is exactly why you should always look at their portfolio first and make sure they have a current Blood Borne Pathogens certificate. (Preferably within the last year but some states accept two years.) Don't settle for less than an amazing portfolio, be prepared to pay good money for…
  • Always wipe off machines when you're done and don't answer your cell phone. Turn the ringer off. I think those are my biggest gym pet peeves.
  • My butt gets bigger when I use the Elliptical a lot. But then again I have the opposite problem. When I'm out of shape my butt flattens and when I'm in shape it bubbles out. When my fiance tells me my butts getting bigger it's a compliment.
  • Beautiful Got it and thank you!
  • I'll be trying this soon! I love Tilapia. Thanks!
  • I've had several hit with a laser. It's expensive but worth it. My black is pretty much completely gone. Blues are hanging on strong but slowly fading. Definitely get any numbing they offer. It hurts much more than getting the tattoo in the first place with no numbing. My favorite is the topical cream. The injectable…
  • I guess I should have added that I did weigh close to that after a seven week hospital stay and on my frame it looked sickly. I know some ladies can pull it off beautifully at around our height.
  • According to mine I would still be healthy at 97 pounds because I'm 5"1'. There's no way. I would look sickly if I was under 100 pounds. I think it's nice to see what's average but I don't think they should be a measure for everyone.
  • My pic is me right before doing the Warrior Dash a few months ago. I didn't train, work out or change my diet before I did it and I totally kicked butt. I'm flexing my complete lack of muscle and being very sarcastic in it. What better for a fitness site?
  • This was my fist cheat day today and I used it to try some ideas I've had the last week that I wasn't sure where going to be low calorie. That way they didn't go against my count on a normal day if they ended up being high. I found that logging it made me not go overboard with the freedom. I kept my portions small on the…
  • I want my nose straightened. I broke it years ago and it's been crooked ever since. I also would like under my chin done but I'm hoping that will go away by itself with the next ten pounds. I'm sure when I start to get more wrinkles I'll do something about it.
  • You could have a protein shake or some Chia seed. They expand in your stomach and make you feel full.
  • i did a search for "yoga for bedtime" on Youtube and came up with lots of videos. My best friend is a yoga instructor and she's shown me a few great poses that help me sleep great!
  • I was already in the healthy range when I started this! I want to drop 10-15 for my wedding. I never thought I'd be the kind of girl who would do that. I've always been proud of my curves. (I actually want my butt to be bigger and it's getting there with muscle.) I just want the middle to be smaller so the curves stick out…
  • You can give muscle groups the day off. Work upper body one day and lower body the next. You build muscle when you're resting after a work out. You tear it down when you're working out. It needs a chance to heal and build before it gets torn down again.
  • I found my secret weapon for water drinking yesterday! I have a 40 minute drive to and from work so I brought my water bottle with me both ways. That's 4 cups down just while driving! After that it was super easy to drink 4 more throughout the work day. (Taking lots of bathroom breaks though! Haha!)
  • Oh goodness! I don't think about food all the time! Ha ha! I'm definitely called out on that exaggeration aren't I? I spend time planning, that was my point. And I have to think about it a lot more when I'm counting calories for obvious reasons.
  • Counting calories is the only way I can stop myself from eating bad things. Thinking about food all the time is perfectly natural. All other animals spend the majority of their time hunting, foraging, storing food and eating. I plan everyday and often prepare tomorrows meals today so I'm ready and prepared with good stuff.…
  • There's lot's of recipes for making your own gram crackers! Here's one that I found with a quick search. It looks pretty high calorie but I bet you could substitute some stuff to make it better for you. http://www.food.com/recipe/how-to-make-your-own-homemade-graham-crackers-39120
