Thank you! I FEEL happy and healthy!

Hahaha YES ^

I have tried both ways and I do weigh in everyday. It helps keep me accountable and on track, without doing so I would derail. Keep in mind though what you're wearing, time of day, as well as sodium etc. Try both ways and see what works best for you.

Wow, great job!

Welcome! I too have been on here a while and looking for new friends. I did the triathlon, here in Chicago, last summer and would love to bounce fitness ideas and encourage eachother. Friend request sent.

Haha! This is starting to become my new Facebook.

Ive heard good things about both. I personally have a Fuji and love it. Shop around and dont be afraid to ask to take one for a test ride. Id suggest looking at last years models also. Similar to cars, a brand new bike from the previous year may have a couple hundred dollars knocked off.

You can really see a difference! Good job!

I too have done this in the past. I would tell myself that since it is considered healthy I should be able to eat more. What channel or program was the Secret Eater show on? I wouldn't mind seeing it.

B-12 has helped me tremendously. It takes a couple weeks to get in your system but worth it. Your body could also be adjusting to the new foods and eating. Hang in there!
-
^ You and me both! :)
-
^ I agree. Look at last year's models. Similair to cars, the prices really drop whenever the new ones come out.

^ Post made my day with the Mrs. Dash comment! Thanks.

Hello all! I've been on here for a little over a year on and off...really getting serious the past few months. I'm 21 years old, 5'10, lost 31lbs, with about 10-15 more to go. I'm always up for meeting new friends and happy to encourage you all on your journey. Happy Saturday, and don't eat too many chocolate bunnies…

Hi Lydia - Not exactly in the same boat, but same ocean. :) Trying to lose the last 10-15lbs also, depending on where my body thinks is good. My Fitness Pal is a great website and really helps with logging and staying accountable. - Jackie

My thoughts exactly! -- Drink more water -- Continue to stay on top of vitamin regime -- Make time to workout in the mornings instead of last minute evenings -- NO elevators - Stairs each and every time
-
I'm 5'10 and eat about 1200 on non-workout days. When I do hit the gym I eat around 1500-2000.
-
WOW! If that's not a lifestyle change, I don't know what is! :)
-
Wow! Good job! You should be proud of yourself. :) If I were you I don't think I could wait to measure myself. So true! ^

Elliptical is my favorite cardio machine after the treadmill. Its a great way to burn some fast calories if you're crunched on time.
-
Awesome! Keep up the great work, I can see a difference for sure!

Hello everyone! I've been on MFP for the past year or so on and off. I'm looking for some friends to keep me accountable and make sure I actually log and get involved instead of just lurking on the boards! I recently graduated the police academy late last year and am employed about 45 min SW of Chicago. Jackie

Hello all! I'm Jackie...5'10, 21 years old. I was on here previously on and off early spring of 2012. When I was during my "off" phases I really slacked off. Looking for some motivation and encouragement. Lets tackle 2013 and make this OUR YEAR.
-
You look great!
-
Congrats! Thats awesome. It sounds like youre doing everything right, keep up the great work and youll continue to lose it.
-
Ive used it before, it works slowly, but nothing fantastic or like the results we see/hear about. In my opinion the Walgreens brand does a better job and a lot cheaper too. If you look at the contents theyre almost identical.
-
What an inspiration! Congratulations, you should be proud!

You look great! Keep up the good work!

Maybe hes a little jealous or resentfull that youve lost weight. Has he been trying also? Id say forget about him. If he truly values your friendship hell come back.
