I took a break a few months ago. I ended up eating more because i wasn't as mindful. Long story short I gained everything I lost back plus. I am back on track now though. I would say don't stop unless you have to.

I would say to just pick a consistent day and time to weigh yourself and stick with that. It also helps to weigh in the same thing each time. I weigh myself every Friday morning right before I get into the shower. That way I am getting the most accurate weight.
