I find drinking green tea when I have a craving helps, and sometimes I still eat the doughnut. But if I only eat 1 doughnut out of the 50 that I want during those few days, I feel its a win.

Have you tried doing them against the wall? Maybe making your one hand a fist? Just some suggestions that have worked for me when I broke my thumb.
