You're doing fabulous. I'm almost 50 down with 130lbs or so to go! We both got this.
-
Walked 4.2 miles today. Longest walk ever!
-
Before when at 210, telling people I have 65lbs to go "you'll be nothing but bones" Most comments I get are positive now and then, though.

Yesterday, instead of ordering for delivery, I said if we wanted pizza we had to walk to pick up. We walked the almost mile there and almost mile back, plus took a detour yesterday. Burned almost all the calories from the pizza with the walk.

Was able to pretty easily walk a 3.09 mile round trip to the library book sale Saturday.
-
Walked 2.06 miles today ( hills galore) with no breaks.

I started at 336lbs. Lost 14 pounds in about 4 weeks. Been 3 months. Currently down to 301.6 lbs.

Do you measure yourself? If you haven't gained inches you likely gained muscle or water weight or a combo.

I have a polar m430, got it about a year ago. It can track basically any exercise. Tracks steps. Has gps. Programable through their site. I love it.

Noticing how much my legs are changing this morning. I have lost about 35lbs so far. That's about 11% total, but 4% in last month.

You all are so inspiring! I've been interested in lifting for a long time. With my stiff wrists though don't think there's a lot I can do. I do my Total Gym for now and love it. Keep it going!

I walked 1.49 miles today. Furthest I've gone all year.
-
I was able to walk 1 mile in my hilly neighborhood. First time in several months.

174lbs to go here. Any on her feel free to add me.

The one you can stick to is best for you.

I didn't knock it :p

Your past activity likely has left you with a good amount of muscle. Muscle burns more calories when sedentary than fat. You will get closer to the mfp numbers unless you do something to upkeep the muscle amount.

I'm a bit heavier than you being over 300lbs but depending on diet (less sodium for example) I generally lose anywhere from 2-4.5 lbs the first week of my last few attempts. This time, where I'm truly ready to lose, I lost about 3.2lbs the first week without doing any major exercise or changing my diet further than keep…

It's physically impossible for most to gain 2 lbs of fat in one or two days. To do so you'd have to eat 7000 calories and not get out of bed. We as a being fluctuate water daily. Salt and various other things force your body to hold onto more. You're doing fine.

Hi all! Caught up again. It's been a bit warmer here than it was ( will cool off in two days) and my knees stiffened up so I missed my walk. Doing my dance-aerobics and the total gym today. Weighed in prev at 333.6 Weighed in today at 329.2 My abs are finally not sore from the fantastic work on the TG machine. I will be…

I have found I lose best when eating what I like but limiting amounts. If you don't restrict eating what you like, you aren't likely to gorge on it in times of weakness. Eat when hungry as a rule of thumb. Keep busy. Don't eat out of boredom. I know my limits. If I know there's a good chance of going over calories, I do…

As you have only 10 lbs to lose you should be trying to lose around .5 lbs a week. Make sure you weigh and measure everything. Maybe try calorie cycling to surprise your metabolism a bit. Increase exercise a bit might help as well. Sometimes the scale should be ignored for awhile. It can "lie" because of water retention.…

I've always found I lose on here, even when I eat exactly what they recommend with no exercise. I generally am under, though. You may have to wiggle a bit but 400 calories a day is 2800 calories a week, meaning about 2/3 of a pound of fat. So, if you lost more than that then you should be losing at 1900 as well. It's…

Caught up on 26 posts. Sounds like overall things are improving for most. I had no loss for last week as I had sore muscles, but those all seem fine now. Still working hard. Hoping to hit a new small high on my walk today ( as long as it doesn't rain). Trying to be at 1 mile before Oct 2nd but isn't looking likely at my…

Writing 20 on my white board for my exercise streak.

I will cheer on exercises, good posts and like streaks. I generally don't comment on or like most diary posts unless someone asks for feedback. I've seen too many ED diaries in the past sadly. I will encourage and always try to motivate my friends on here :) Add me if you wish :)

Just be careful as always. I injured my Achilles tendons jumping rope. Pretty sure it was just because I weighed over 250lbs but just figured I'd give the warning.

This thread is fantastic!

Well you can face either way to use the pullies. Rosalie on youtube shows using it as a rowing machine. I've only had and used one for a couple weeks and love it. I use it in various ways and will continue to as my fitness improves. :)
