I thought the reason I did lift was to be stronger then a man. Silly me.

When bike shopping I decided to upgrade to clip in pedals. I was testing riding the bike in the parking lot of bike shop. Wasn't used to having to unclip and well just fell over sideways. The sales guy was pretty young and not sure what to do with me. I have since learned the art of unclipping.

Hi, I have OA in both my knees. My original diagnosis was in my early twenties. In January I received a partial knee replacement in my right knee which has helped tremendously. The biggest thing is to stay as active as possible and pain control. For me the best exercises were swimming, biking and strength training.

Many years ago I developed PF and had no success with orthotics, ice etc. What did provide relief was Active Release Techniques (ART). http://www.activerelease.com/what_patients.asp. I have been quite lucky and the PF has not returned since I did the therapy. I also found it helped to treat shin splints.

I am okay with grunting but I have heard some pretty strange noises coming from the rack area of my gym. I was working about be side one guy and the grunting and other noises was to much. I found it very hard not to laugh at him. How really needs to say the following really "oh yeah you got this" over and over every time…

1. Set-up indoor trainer 2. Use indoor trainer to help recover from partial knee replacement at end of month 3. Complete the 2 day MS bike tour in August. Last year day 1 was 80 km & day 2 was 65. This year I am planning on doing 100km on day 1 & 90 on day 2.
