  • I like all of the Optimum Nutrition flavors except for the coffee/moca flavored ones. I only use like 12oz water to 2 scoops so it's not so watery and chug it.
  • About 3 years ago, I was 265...got that way on a steady diet of hot wings and beer. I realzied that I wasn't in college anymore, and I was realizing how absolutely terrible I looked. I was fat, no other way to say it. I heard about this P90X thing and saw a bunch of transformation videos on youtube. I saw people that…
  • After all, you're just putting some poor girl through college...that's very charitable, lol.
  • I'm the same way. I weigh myself about 3 times per week. It's usually the same, except on Saturdays it's a little higher than on Monday and Wednesday. I don't obsess about it too much (LIES!! :) ), as I also take measurements. As long as those change in the right spots, I'm cool with it.
  • About 3 years ago I was 265 lbs. I started doing p90x in my living room and lost 45lbs in 2 rounds (6 months). I didn't use the diet plan per se, just made better choices and eating lots (and lots....ugh) of grilled chicken. I also didn't have MFP, so I wasn't keeping track of calories or anything like that. It's truly a…

  • It's a bit pricey, but P90X was the best thing I've come across. You can probably find a used copy, but I didn't follow the diet plan as they say, but I did make much better choices and still drank alcohol moderately. After 2 rounds, I lost 45 lbs. I didn't have MFP as a support, just me and the encouraging words from…
  • You can edit the nutrition information. Where it asks if this information is correct, say No, and then edit the info yourself.
  • Stick with it. It definitely works. I didn't follow the diet guide and I still lost 45 lbs after 2 rounds. I did make much better choices when I ate though.
  • I try to go at least 3-4 weeks, consistently. If I hit a plateau for a few weeks, I'll usually forget everything for a week and eat like I want to and may skip workouts just to let my body "reset." Just don't do what I did in March and kept resetting for a month, haha! It's all good though, we're back on track.
  • I never post, but I had to this time because it hit close to home. :) I agree with everyone above. It's just one day. It's done, it's over. I had to learn this for myself and I'm finally realizing that it's true. Tomorrow is a new day, don't worry about it. The "old me" would have said "ah, I messed up once this week,…
