Your starting point is right where I'm at and where you're at now is my goal. How long did it take. Did you do anything specific?

Look up the restaurants nutritional fact of their websites and then find the ones on MFP that match the websites nutritional facts. A lot of people put in random numbers on MFP so that can be confusing when you search that restaurant on MFP.

I'm really bad at night time snacking too and so yesterday I started writing in my blog that mfp has set for me. After dinner and when my calories are up for the day I've decided to start writing in it like a journal and tell myself my goals and reasons why I don't need to eat anymore tonight. It really helped me think…

If you're doing tdee do NOT eat back exercise calories, it's already included

Honestly it took awhile. IT's all a mental thing and it's hard. It's learning a new relationship with food. A couple years ago I got a program called Am I Hungry by Dr. Michelle May. IT's a 8 week program that you can choose to do on your own. I Did the program and it really helped. Counting calories or anything like that…

allow yourself to eat the foods you want and stay within your calories. I eat healthy overall (100% whole wheat and pasta lean meats, fruits and veggies) but I love love love chocolate and icecream. I let myself have a little treat in the afternoon and after dinner. I use to be the all or nothing dieter too and would find…

Totally agree and thanks

I did take pictures and measure. My waist does look a little smaller, but I haven't remeasured. Maybe it's time to re measure :) I really do think it's just water weight, I was just soooo frustrated this morning and after doing my workout this morning I am feeling better. Yesterday when I burned 700 calories so I had to…

I weigh and measure everything. Even with eating out, I'll bring it home and weigh it if I can. I eat a piece of gum, I put it down. EVERYTHING gets put down and I don't taste or lick fingers while cooking

Thanks so much everyone. I will keep at it :) I will try to eat half my workout calories back and see what that does. I'm totally fine to lose it slowly, it's just so frustrating when I feel like the last month was wasted when I woke up this morning and the scale said I was 1 pound heavier than I was when I started. I'll…

over a month and only seeing a pound gained on the scale, yes it's frustrating

I'm 5'3. I am at the high end of the healthy weight, my goal is 125 so I'm in the middle of my healthy range. I weigh and measure everything when I am at home and when I eat out, I always look at the website before going out and deciding what I am going to eat before getting to the restaurant. It's just frustrating because…

This is a forum to help people and inspire people, not argue and debate. Sorry I started a debate and argument, wasn't my intention, just put my opinion in. You seem set in your ways and I guess I am too, so if CO works for you GREAT! That's awesome. It is the healthiest version of saturated fat. People just need to…

references please (oh and reliable ones, not a persons opinion please.) Trust me I've done my research, and so for me, I try to limit my saturated fat as much as possible. I am not going to list all my references cause people can do their own research, I've already done mine for me. I just have never seen any research and…

Saturated fat and trans fat are NOT good for you and should be consumed in very little amounts if any. If you're going for healthy fat, go for olive oil, it's unsaturated which is the good fat our bodies do need. I've heard all the "health benefits" of coconut oil, but I don't buy any of it. They say it's the "good…

Can I ask what your net calories were and gross calories?
-
Great Job! How long did it take you?
-
best way is to get a heart rate monitor that tracks your calories as you work out. That'll be the most accurate way

Im just starting insanity as well. My BMR is 2314 (that includes my intense working out) and I subtracted 1,000 calories from that for a 7,000 deficiet a week which is about a 2 pound weightloss a week. If your goal is 1 pound subtract 500 from your BMR. Youre goal should not be more than 2 pounds a week for a healthy…
