I've been benching, deadlifting and squatting since 2000. Wish I started sooner. The genetically gifted make the best gains tho. I've seen some strong skinny *kitten* powerlifters lol but I agree, go heavy or go home as far as real gains go. My fav saying.

Yup my 14yo and I go hit up them pokestops. I get jelly while I'm driving she's bragging of all the stuff she's getting. I got curious what inspired her to ride a bike I gave her for the first time since Xmas lol if the app got her moving, I approved. Now I'm hooked myself.

Some people would consider this a genetic blessing, yes. But then they might have a hard time putting on that muscle they so badly want. So IDK. Genetics can only take you so far. I bet a ton of people have the best genetics, but because they're sedentary fools, they'd never know it.

Quest bars or any other protein bars, rice cakes (sometimes with nut butters), protein shakes, bite size candies... I guess this is as low calorie as I go and not much of a snacker. I'd say veggies, but that goes with main courses.
