  • Hey everyone! I'm 25, 5'5", and battling down from 175lbs to 130lbs! I'm also an anxious eater, but I found if I stick to a rulebook I can have that telling me "no". And Ive found Keto to work best for me, since I need something satisfying to work all day on my computer lol. Once I get into a good rhythm I'll be back doing…
  • Hi! I've taken classes previously for Kyokushin karate and Kenpo karate, but this year I finally found a solid home to learn Kenpo! I'm only on purple right now, but I'm looking forward to study for life. :)
  • I'm new at keto! But I'm in it for the long run. I'm 25, and teaming up with my 60y/o mom to get in shape! Looking for keto friends :)
  • New at keto diet! Looking for friends- fellow newbies and long time successes :)
  • I'm 21! Feel free to add me :)
  • Parisarkw just recommended to me putting tallies on your food diary for each day, since when she does it she feels less and less inclined to break the goal of 35 days. I thought this was a great idea and I'm going to do it too, but I wanted to share! :D
  • #1 reminds me of something a teenager would wear. #2 looks much better.
  • Omg I am so trying this *___* I've been meaning to find a new way to spice up the lo-fat, skim cottage cheese
  • Emma- I've read in a lot of muscle building/toning articles that you should wait anywhere between a full 24 hours to 48 hours before giving that same muscle grouping another thrashing- enough time for the muscle to recover and start to build up so it isn't in 'recovery' mode all of the time.
  • Yes m'am! Squatts it will be!! :D
  • Yeah I hate the idea of rewarding myself with food out of my plan- it makes the plan seem filled with yucky food when it really isn't! So something like a massage, getting hair done, or a new sweater from J Crew sounds like a pretty bomb idea :D
  • This is a really good idea!! I'm in :)
  • I have heard a lot of things about this, since I started to develop stretch marks on my thighs as a kid. Back then the dermatologist said to use pure coco butter to up elasticity and prevent stretch marks, and later he said only a medicated creme would help. Now a lot of dermatologists are saying that a lack of elasticity…
  • Mmm, I'm not sure about the accuracy on any of these. After all, something as exerting as being on an elliptical trainer gets similar results in the "what the hell I did not only just burn 300 cal". But I find it doesn't matter that much as long as you feel you are pushing yourself in an exercise routine that will improve…
  • April- I noticed that you have similar goals to me. I found particularly with my "sweet tooth", the South Beach approach worked really great. If you get the guide that maps out the first two weeks of meals and gives you simple recipes to follow, it keeps things interesting while you are trying to get "unaddicted" to…
  • Just a warning- I did the Master Cleanse over the summer and it wasn't the best fitness decision I've made overall. It did make me lose 15 lbs, but I gained 5 lbs right back and it did not ease me into promoting a healthier diet, but mainly 'restarted' my entire diet. And it was unhealthy. Unfortunately, I did the cleanse…
  • It sounds like you are eating the wrong kind of snack! I recently read an article in Livestrong that was talking about the best fitness tips, and it really expressed the importance of eating something right after you workout, but stressed that it should be good for you as well. It even suggests something you wouldn't…
  • Because I've been on the South Beach Diet, I've been eating a lot of very lean cut meats. My mom (who is doing the diet with me) is bothered by how tough the meat is, but I digress. Cut your pieces thinner, and soak the lean meats longer. :) Chicken breast Boneless top round steak Sirloin Eye round london broil Flank steak…
  • Yess I definitely think sugar addictions are real, because I have had one forever! Remember on that trip to Pullmanistan, and I started eating massive amounts of doughnuts and sugary muffins? That set me back about a month, all because I let myself start eating emotionally and with abandon. Also- Do not depend on…
  • Since I'm doing a diet with my mom to revamp how we eat, I have taken over the white board on the fridge and it says what day we are on of the diet. On a sticky note next to it is our respective weights, and it is really, really motivating to see both our weights go down before I open the fridge to eat anything. I also…
