My mom and my cousin have celiac. My mom's had it for ten years now, crazy! I know it's way hard to eat a gluten-free diet, so kudos to you and good luck!

Ya, it definitely works after getting sweaty, but if you want it to read before that make sure you get it wet!!
-
Did you get the chest strap wet first? You have to get it fairly wet in order to activate it. I also have at F4 and whenever mine won't read mine, I go put my fingers under some water and rub them on the two "electrodes" and then it works. Good luck!

Both the F4 and the F6 have chest straps. My mom has the F6 and I have the F4, and I actually like the F4 better, it's a lot more simple. The straps are really comfortable and I don't even notice them when I wear it. I absolutely LOVe that it counts my calories too!

I might be interested too! I just bought that DVD and Jillian's "No more Trouble Zones" That one seriously kicks my butt, but they're both awesome!

I really like the WishBone Salad Spritzers. My favorite is the raspberry vinagarette with blue cheese crumbles, craisins, and almonds. It's only 1 calorie per spray and the almonds help me feel full.

30 day shred is a good combo exercise, she does cardio, weights, and abs in circuits. I like it a lot; however I've started running and I really like that for my cardio. I LOVE her "no more trouble zones" it's almost 1 hour of real strength training. My arms, legs, and butt are usually sore for 2-3 days afterwards and I…

I just did my very first 5k last Saturday, it was awesome! I met my goal time of 35 minutes and I'm ready to do another one! Good luck!

Polar heart rate monitors are AWESOME! If you want one that tracks your calories, make sure it's the F4 or higher (the F3 measures your heart rate, but doesn't keep track of calories burned). I got my F4 on sale for about $70, but it's been well worth it!

I'm also trying to get "healthy" before getting pregnant again. I weighed too much to begin with my first pregnancy and gained too much. I always wanted to be one of those "cute" pregnant ladies and not just really big, which I felt I was. I started out just wanting to drop some weight before getting pregnant, but I've…

Personally, I don't worry about leftover calories, as long as I've had at least 1200. I try to never go under that though.

I would have to agree. I have the Polar F4 w/ the strap and it really doesn't bother me. My mom just got the F7 and it's strap doesn't have any metal on it, it's more fabric and you might like it better; it's more money though.

I got my F4 a few weeks ago and love it! Have fun!

I also love Jillian Michaels. I really like the 30 day shred, but I also just got her "No More Trouble Zones" and I was sore for three days, it was wonderful! You just need a pair of dumbells, in the video she only uses 3lb cause you're doing 5 min of the same thing. It's not cardio really, but awesome strength. I found…

My bad cholesterol is really good, but I can't seem to get my good cholesterol up where it needs to be. My doctor told me to increase my excercise to 30 min/day at least 3 times per week. Funny thing is I already excercise about an hour a day, 5 or 6 days a week. He also told me to increase my fiber intake. So, my question…

If you like Jillian Michaels, I just finished her "No More Trouble Zones" and it totally kicked my butt! It's circuit training and w/ the warm up and cool down it's 55 min. I also like her 30 day shred. I found them both at half.com for really cheap. I'm also a Turbo Jam lover, but it's nice to switch things up a bit-have…

Am I safe to assume that my Polar F4 would also be okay then?

I know your body can do strange things when you go off birth control; especially w/ your cycle. When I went off BC the first time, it took a few months for my body to figure out my cycle again. You can basically get pregnant anytime, I've even known people that got pregnant on their period- it's just not as likely. Good…

It's under "community" then "message boards". You can search from there :)

I just found the Danskin High Active sports bras at Walmart for like $7 and they come in regular bra sizes (ie 36 C) so you know exactly what to get and they're awesome and very supportive :)

I also hate running and have been doing the couch to 5k for about three weeks now. I think I'm going to do Breast Cancer 5k in May. I actually have to say I don't hate it as much, and now that I have a heart rate monitor, it's good to know I'm staying within my target heart rate and burning lots of calories! Good luck to…

I've really been craving Applebee's Fiesta Lime Chicken lately, but I about died when I saw that it's almost 1,300 calories (that's about how much I eat in a whole day). So I've not let myself get it since I've been using this site. Well, today's my birthday and I had my dinner (only half of it). I still went over on my…

I use weighted gloves- I bought Turbo Jam about 4 years ago (before they had the gloves) so I bought them online at Walmart.com and had them shipped to the store for free. They only cost around $11 and it makes SUCH a big difference.

I started out putting under "kickboxing" which for me was about 11 cal/min. But then I just bought a Polar heart rate monitor and for me it was closer to 8 cal/min, so I was actually giving myself too many calories by just putting it under the kickboxing. The best way to make sure it's really accurate is to get a heart…

I had mono about 5 years ago and it sounds like what you have. I went in for a sore throat, tested negative for strep but they gave me antibiotics anyway. I went back two days later because I was feeling worse and the dr told me that sometimes the worst strep throat she had seen was actually mono. I couldn't eat anything…

I think the F4 basically does the same thing (tells you how many calories you've burned) but it's a lot cheaper. I'm going to get myself one for my birthday tomorrow. (I know it's on sale at the Big 5 by my house, you can check their website to see if it's on sale where you live to-if you have one there)

I've heard different things too. I know Jillian from BL said something about it not mattering when you eat your calories, but I just try not to eat about 2 hours before going to bed. You'll definitely need to eat something though. You could also do a quick exercise before going to bed too, although that might keep you up…

I just saw the commercial for it yesterday and I'm stoked to try it; I LOVE juice, but I haven't had any since I've been trying to lose weight. This makes me so happy!: smile:

I also like the sugar free jello-Walmart has a 24 pack for under $3. Then I'll add some cool whip in a can, so it's 20 calories total; works for me!

Ya, she actually gained 9 pounds the first few weeks and then lost 19 I guess to make her total 10 pounds. That sucks :( I hope she still eventually makes her goal
