Classic. I found this old post of mine in this thread. Well that was December. Since then I buggered my elbow and my back twice, and gained 10-ish kilos. I think I'm right now. Just started rehabing back with swimming & light weight work. Looking for a crew to keep me motivated. Free free to add me.

Hi all. I'm a 6'7" guy who been progressing well for the last few years. In 2015 I want to punch through my plateau and the get the physique of my fitness hero Wladimir Klitschko. The great thing about MFP is the super supportive community. I love helping people reach their goals and appreciate people who are willing to…

I'm glad I've found this thread. Entering (southern hemisphere) spring I'm looking for like-minded people who have already achieved their weight goals and are either maintaining or pushing through to the next level. I'm 6'7" and currently 112kg (put on a few winter kilos, that are now on my hit list). Apart form that I'm…

From Melbourne here, and I got a secret... Footy finals time is THE BEST time to get a jump on Spring training. Four weeks of 3 hours training while everyone is sitting around with beer and pies. Come October they'll all be like "WOAH what happen to you". Who's with me?

I'm based in Melbourne CBD. Anything that can keep me focused through the winter chill would be awesome.

I'm kicking off a new routine and always keen to share ideas with people. All details are open, Don't be shy, say hi. :)

What's your name? Christoph Where do you live? Melbourne, Australia What are your food vices/ cheats? Coffee is my only vice. What do you think is holding you back from being in your TOP shape? Time. What's your favorite exercise? Hamboarding (...seriously, Google it) What exercise would you like to try this year? ...maybe…

Looks like three of us may make an active group....or it might be easier to friend each other? (nb. I just saw the sticky post "Important: CFBC Private Group") I've been on MFP since 2011, but am getting re invigorated. Always keen to meet new fitness friends, CF = extra awesomeness.

Wow, this is a huge thread already. Sorry I didn't have time to read all the post, but wanted to say my piece. Sorry If I've repeated. People who say NO to the nanny state don't realise that it already is a nanny state, run by the food & bev giants - they're just more subtle. Large sizes is just the start. They introduce…

Likewise. The more, the merrier. Feel free to add me.

Hi there. I'm from Melbourne. Now that it's getting colder, keep the fitness up will get harder. But happy to support where i can. Feel free to send a friend request.

Welcome. Healthy lifestyle is the key. :-D

Friend request sent. On the topic of shoes, I'm a big fan of barefoot shoes for all stability based exercise - but only walking/running if you know the right technique (no heel impact). I have VIVO barefoot.

That a phenomenal effort in two months. Keep it up and you'll be set of an awesome 2012.

Woah, Dropped the ball on this convo. Sorry all; I'm back. @naseak, I'm 6'7". If I'm following the thread right, we're talking height b/w genders. IMO when people are happy, height is not a factor. I wasted a lot of time in my teens/twenties looking for the right woman based on preconceived criteria. Looks (by any measure)…

Am I the only one that sees this as a marketing ploy for Biggest Loser advertisers? Run by TEN in conjunction with NOVA & Women's Day, "Supported" by Yoplait, Sanitarium, Jenny Craig, Bupa and Optimum Dog Food. If you're happy to be sold all that, go for it.

Thanks, duly noted. I tend not to comment on things I have no knowledge/experience on, so I'll either stay silent... or rightously defend to the hilt.

We're of the same mind @laurahutch21. I totally believe the scenario you mention. I remember when I worked bar at college , customers wouldn't believe my height/weight if I was behind the bar (about 3-5m away). When I stood next to them they would freak, as if it was an optical illusion - it was my party trick, simple but…

Awesome, I just joined this group and I can already tick of the day's challenge. Rather than my usual muesli for breakfast, I had some Tuna Nicoise salad left over from last night. TICK.

I've been using the shoes for two weeks now, and I;ve come to two conclusions. The first - I will never be a runner. I went jogging one and managed ten minutes which I was pretty happy with. Whern I went out the second time my joint were struggling within a minute. The second - Barefoot shoe are great for all round…

Very true, AJay. The "sub-optimals" really don't get it.

Count me in. :-)

I highly recommend "YOGAmazing" YouTube channel and iTunes podcast. Definately a good point of entry for beginners, but I've been able to push it pretty hard on some flows. http://www.yogamazing.com/ I just noticed that Chaz even does personal classes, via Skype or Facetime. I wonder if a G+Hangout would also work? It…
