thanks for the well wishes. sorry i;ve been away. we had our first child on feb 7th. It is nice but omg i am tired. back up to 243.8 but I just got my office back together. No standing desk as my knees can';t take it and my back hurts. I recommend everyone do a trial day first or make sure you have a stool to sit on to…

thanks for the feed back. Another other mental stuff would be appreciated.

I'd be a horrible fitness buddy but you have a great tummy!

Yeah, it can be amazing when you realize what you have been eating. You think, "holy crap! that has THAT many calories?" Keep logging:) Welcome.

jsut get int he habit of logging your food. That alone will help. It makes you visit here which also helps. you can do it.

I have not tried this but a military friend of mine recommends the following. Do as many Full push-ups as you can, even if it is one, or none, engage those muscles and try. By trying you can still get the exercise. Then do as many knee push-ups as you can. Then stand against a wall, inclined slightly and do as many as you…

@Dan....I appreciate the offer and I may take you up on that. I was just going by what the MFP said. I use the phone app...sometimes. I need to get back to it. Maybe I need to do a daily check-in here. Part of logging the food is I can spend so much darn time finding the food to log it. I mean MFP is great but it gets…

I do. It's the money. Around here classes are like $150/month. and no that isn't a lot, unless you don't have it. That is kind of where I am. We can't cut back budgets any more than we have. I mean we are turning off the lights next. But yes, I agree. I need a motivation. I also can;t stand exercise for exercise sake.…

That is effing fantastic dude!

Screw what other people have done. You have the balls (please pardon my french) to post pics of yourself here and say "Here Ye! look unto me and see what I have done!" That is awesome and keep it up! I am happy for you.

Am I supposed to eat or do I eat? I try for 1600. I am 6'2" tall, programmer, thus a sedentary lifestyle. 46" chest, 42" waist. I have a herniated disc in my lower back (had surgery) and my knees and shoulders grind. I am doing "alright" on food in that even though I screw up frequently I have still managed to lose weight.…

yer not a sissy. If this was all super easy everyone in the world would be fit. So don't worry about that.

Honestly, sometimes things just don't work out. It;'s not like you did something wrong or they did. Your personalities just didn't match. That's it. You are a good person. You just need to believe it.

I understand that. I am not in love with weights but I do love to go out and chop wood for an hour. But...we're out of wood. The treadmill is fantastic for cardio so that is awesome. keep that up. Since I've joined I've lost 4 pounds but hey, it's a start. Joining up is definitely good. I actually have this place set as my…

ok well that's all good to know! I had asked before but no one ever knew! I'm glad I'm not alone:0

I dunno what MFP is but I see your ticker shows you've lost 17 lbs already! that's awesome! keep it up and track food every day. Since you've lost weight you are probably on the right track. keep on chuggin!

I find that when I was successful at all it was when I tracked all my food. Good luck!

you can do it! I never took time for myself and am just starting at 38. It helps a lot. do you know what's bee holding you back? or did you just kinda forget and one day was like "oh poop, how'd I get here?" Also, if you have a 10 month old you were obviously just pregnant, (I know, I'm so smart!) And I hear it can take a…
