Love this post. Yeah they lure you in with the "It's free" pitch and then you end up stimulating the economy. Sounds like a "win win" to me.

Pumpkin Cheesecake Pudding (Low Calorie) 2 boxes Jello Instant Sugar & Fat Free Cheesecake Pudding Mix 1 can pumpkin (16 oz) 3 cups…

Without these type of things happening (I was once told that I was the only one they knew could trip over an underground cable), life would be too boring!!!! Glade your OK.

Your in the right city for that. Enjoy your time away and relax(play some golf for me). I'm not far enough along yet but next April we have a big trip planned and am looking forward to being able to enjoy allot more activities than would have w/o the weight loss. Drop me a note when your back.

Well you won't ever hear me say to lay off of playing golf. I hope i'm playing until they pry the clubs from my fingers.

My brother lost a good amount of weight last winter and spring using MFP. I joined in July but didn't get going until mid-August.
-
Great job, you look great. I'm sure MFP will help you reach your goal.
-
Way to go!!! I'm right behind you, only 6 pounds to go to reach my first mini goal.

Hi Nikki, I have barely kept up with reading your's and other's posts to me and logging my food over the past 3-4 weeks. I do appreciate your posts and will have more time to spend on here now that things have settled down here.

Congratulations, that is so inspiring. I'll be watching next Monday.

Here you go: This is very easy with few ingredients. The key is the quality. Use imported San Marzano tomatoes & fresh basil. San Marzano Tomato Sauce 6 cloves garlic clove, cut thin slices 3 tbs Olive Oil 90 oz Tomatoes, Canned, Whole, Cut Up(San Marzano) 3 oz Fresh Basil 2 tsp Kosher Salt 1 tsp Black pepper (fresh…

I either use the Recipe tool on here or enter it into "Living Cookbook" on my PC.

I've been buying the Skinny Cow products which are rather expensive. I'm going to make this in larger batches and keep it in the freezer. Anybody got any ideas on making a strawberry version to swirl into the cheesecake flavor? Here's another option: (It's In the Recipe Database) Frozen Peanut Butter/Chocolate Pudding…

One of my initial goals was to be under 300# by Thanksgiving. That's only 10 more pounds, so I think I need to readjust that figure and push it a little. New goal is 295# by Thanksgiving.

Pretty much all of us have been there. I have been on both sides of this. My wife did Slim for Life years ago and I was not ready to admit that I needed to lose weight. We ended up eating separate meals but she stood her ground and lost a good amount of weight. Whenever we would visit my Dad(in Michigan, we live in Kansas…

I've played twice this month. First time was early October after hitting 50+ lbs lost. First swing on the first tee I almost fell over from losing my balance. Someone changed my center of gravity. Took several holes to adjust and the second time I played was allot better. By the way, you burn 822 calories when playing and…

I love good craft beers, but they're loaded with calories. I've switched to either Bud Light, Bud Light Wheat, or a Gin with Diet Tonic. I can drink 2 -3 beers instead of just 1 craft beer. Weekends are the only days I'll have a drink, that's when I'm more active and burning the extra calories so I stay under my calories…

Awesome job. Can't wait till I hit the 100# mark.

Needed them big time tonight!

I like to have something sweet after dinner also, so we keep sugar free ice cream sandwiches(110 calories), skinny cow ice cream cups and sandwiches (130-150 calories) on hand. I adjust my food during the day to allow for this at night. Another tip is to schedule a snack between breakfast and lunch, another after lunch and…

Welcome. This site is great for keeping you on track to meet your goals.

I try to plan my pizza day on the weekend when I'm more active and burning calories. Since we are eating less, I try to buy better quality ingredients like imported San Marzano tomatoes for the sauce. Just found an excellent Chicken Italian Sausage yesterday at the store. If someone has a good whole wheat crust formula,…

Here is one we've had a couple of times. I just found Chicken Italian Sausage made locally to Kansas City and tried it tonight with pasta. It's excellent and the rest will find it's way onto a pizza soon. Flat Out Chicken Pizza 3 oz boneless skinless chicken breast(sliced thin) 3/4 cup Green Pepper (thinly sliced) 1/2 cup…

Way to go, congratulations. Keep going you'll get there.

Hyvee and Price Chopper have it in Kansas City. I'll be getting it this weekend. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

Kashi GoLean Crunch with 2 tbs dried cranberries.

Walmart Mini Ice Cream sandwiches(100 calories), Walmart Sugar Free Ice Cream sandwiches(110 calories), or Hunts Sugar Free Chocolate Pudding snack packs(90 calories) are what I use to get past those cravings. The Quaker Choclate Chunk Granola bars are also good(90 calories).
