My left shoulder is weak.

I hurt it many years ago playing in the YMCA pool with my kids. It felt like it dropped to my rib cage. I worked with a trainer about 4 years ago and we got it much stronger. Now all of a sudden its weak again. I've been doing light weights with it but it just seemed weaker. I think maybe the golf has strained it some. There's no pain but I can feel the weakness just doing dishes.
Any thoughts?

My best guess is a strained ligament or maybe a rotator cuff tear?0

Well you won't ever hear me say to lay off of playing golf. I hope i'm playing until they pry the clubs from my fingers.0

No way, I shot a 90 Friday and that after taking an 11 on hole 10. In fact the reason I am concerned is because of golf. I don't want my right arm overpowering my left by a whole bunch.0
