Thanks ladies. It sure is awkward. I wish I had the extra money to spend on some expensive ones right now but I just don't. But I will definitely keep that in mind once business picks up ... Maybe I can use that as a reward for dropping some pounds too. :)

thank you guys. i appreciate it. x Lexi, you reminded me I should be taking the omegas. I am vegetarian so I used to get those seaweed based ones. I should start taking them again.

Thanks, Kaili, I really appreciate it. I always feel like I mean well and when someone misinterprets, it leaves me never wanting to come back to the forums. The WHOLE POINT in my coming back to the forums was to try to get support for my eating disorder. Ironic, considering ...

You're right, though. It seems like people on these forums are very defensive.

I'm not planning 'leading' a group/discussion. I'm just planning on starting an conversation so that we can all share with each other. I never said that I was qualified in any area. Also, I made it clear that when I was talking about appetite suppressants that I meant things that stop you from eating when you don't really…

All I can say is, weigh and measure. You might be surprised. It's easy to 'guesstimate' a tbs of peanut butter or just log an average banana when in fact those things need to be accurately weighed or measured. I started measuring my milk and realized I was having less then I thought. I also 'saved' a lot of calories on…

Yup, me too ... la sigh. I will add you as a friend if you like. I am soon going to be starting a thread for those with eating disorders of any kind, like a weekly chat type thing, if you think it would be helpful.

I have serious cravings/obsessions with certain foods or places to eat too now and then. What works for me is to go cold turkey for about 3 weeks to a month. That gives my brain and body time to calm down and realize that those foods will always be there and I don't need to eat them like they are going out of style. Once…

sugar can be an addictive substance for some people. it may cause a 'crash' afterwards in the way caffeine or a drug does, making you feel bad/depressed and thus wanting more sugar to make yourself feel better. trust me, i know. ;s god i hate having an eating disorder.

ok there are 3 of us now, one who added me as a friend and sent a message. I'm going to try my first walk today, aiming for around 40-50 min.

My husband is thin and eats whatever he wants. He constantly brings home pastry etc. I am supposed to be lowering my cholesterol ... I have binge eating disorder and a strong desire to eat sugar all the time. I've had MANY talks with him about this and he says he'll stop buying junk food and it lasts about a week at most.

Ok cool. Should we check in every Wednesday morning?

your weight will fluctuate a lot over the course of a day. that's why weighing yourself every day can be disconcerting. I really wouldn't worry about it, as long as the Tylenol was the only major different factor in what you consumed that day.

Starting all over here, at my highest yet. 194 lb. I am so tired of failing over and over again. I was fit and thin in 2008 and I WANT THAT BACK.

I'm a vegetarian and have been for 2 years. It's not difficult to get enough protein if you think outside the box and mix it up. Lots of lentils, beans, nuts, seeds, dairy products, eggs, brown rice, faux meat products or tufu, etc.

Hi there, I understand ... I'm very upset with myeslf for constantly yo-yo-ing for the last 6 years. I am 32, and I have had a binge eating disorder and weight and body image issues since I can remember, though I was probably never actually overweight I was 18 or 19. I gained a ton of weight in college and after, and it…

PS weigh your eggs too! :)

Hi sweetie, First of all, YOU ARE NOT ALONE. I want you to know that there are hundreds of people out there in your shoes and we all love and support each other because THIS IS NOT AN EASY DISEASE. I agree with those who have said to talk to your doctor. But don't stop there ... PUSH PUSH PUSH, everywhere and every time.…

I love this lol ;) As someone who has only been a veggie for a year and a half, I still find it really funny when people think eating fish means you're still a vegetarian.

If you do have an eating disorder, I recommend the app Recovery Record. I just starting using it and it's awesome. :)

I felt happier and more attractive when I was thin. I want that back.

Be glad you didn't eat all of it at once ... If it happens now and then, not every day, it shouldn't ruin your weight loss. If it happens every day or several times a day, that's when you really need to worry about it. And no one should judge you for your BPD. I have chronic depression and an eating disorder. This is a lot…
