  • This is an interesting question! For me I think it's more about perception. I feel like I don't dress or behave any differently however when I am slimmer people perceive me as more feminine. I think this is because smaller sizes of clothes tend to be better fitted and tailored than larger sizes and I have an hour glass…
  • I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Wales yet! Snowdonia gets my vote! Completely stunning lots of options for walking, and very close to a lot of beautiful coastline in Gwynedd & Anglesey!
  • Well done, yes it is a new day! Somebody said to me once and it has stuck with me.... "Your body doesn't reflect what you do one day, it reflects what you do every day." This same thought stops me from beating myself up when I've screwed up, and keeps me on track when I want give up. It's no good having a good day once in…

  • You look fantastic, well done my friend!
  • ^This is what I was gonna say. I also hate cardio and get bored of it quick, but HIIT is less time consuming, and because of the intervals the time flies, although it is very hard work! It's worth it though and you feel good after. I do 30 seconds on 30 off, but you can change it up to suit your fitness level.
  • This is a great idea and a very nice website! Well done. Constructive criticism: in the interests of catering to the British, it would be handy to have the recipes in grams rather than cups.
  • I've never even heard of Duck Dynasty, I had to google it. I don't think it is televised over here in the UK, thankfully.
  • I have successfully given it up recently - I'm boycotting all Coca-cola products on moral grounds due their sponsorship of the Sochi Olympics. I am trying to boycott all of the major sponsors, although it is proving to be nigh on impossible to boycott Visa. For me, doing something for the greater good of the LGBT community…
  • My partner recently had a tattoo removed... well sort of. That is she did have it lasered off but after 8 sessions over the course of almost a year it still has not gone, not only it has not gone - it hasn't even nearly gone. It is still clearly visible and there is now a nasty smudge where a nice tattoo used to be. (It…
  • Don't beat yourself up about it, and don't let it put you off. Dust yourself off and keep going.
  • I don't know where you got that information from, but you certainly do not HAVE embalm a body before you bury it here in the UK. Embalming is considered a cosmetic treatment and as vast majority of our funerals are closed casket embalming is actually quite rare over here and I believe it cannot be performed without the…
  • Lol deactivated her account already.
  • Just take it easy and see what happens. Do what feels right & what makes you happy. Try not to over-think it & don't worry too much about labels. If you're interested in him then you're not leading him on. As long as you're true to yourself it will all come out in the wash.
  • I use "ignore" rather than "report". :-p
  • "No homo" is horribly offensive. Personally I won't associate with anybody would have such a homophobic attitude as to be compelled to use this phrase. I will not tolerate homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism, ageism, disabilism, or any other ism or obia. It's very disappointing to me that the moderators of this forum…
  • Cardiff over here! Helloooo!
  • Oil field trash!
  • What the hell is a poutine?
  • Living in Cardiff now, but originally from West Sussex.
  • Bizzarely we're still waiting for full equality here in the UK, although for quite some time now all three of our major political parties are in agreement on this issue and are pro-marriage equality there is stil no action. Typical of our useless government, all mouth and no trousers.
  • Yeah I watched it, I hated the first series but still couldn't stop watching, the second series was much better... partly because they got rid of the characters of Frankie & Kat... they were just awful.
  • Toast with marmite and marmalade on it... mmmm!
  • Me! Cardiff here, but originally from West Sussex.
  • Well that's great news, obviously! But he has been president for how long? 3 years-ish? Why hasn't he said anything or acted on it before now? Same thing this side of the pond with David Cameron... he has been prime minister for quite some time and says he supports marriage equality but I don't see any action, only empty…
  • Having a sunbed is not a bonus.
in pure gym Comment by Smiler106 May 2012
  • I don't know why it's a problem, at my old gym I had a huge crush on one of the trainers, it was great I got in shape and enjoyed the view! If I hadn't moved away from the area I'd definately be in better shape than I am now!!
  • Hahaha this thread is funny! Ok my favourites are the differences in insults. For example.... wanker & douche! I was working with a couple of Americans and they had gone out & somebody called one of them a wanker, they asked me what it means.. Wank = *kitten*.... so a wanker is somebody who masturbates. They laughed and…
  • It works better for dark hair. I had a few treatments in Cyprus a few years ago, it worked well for a while but now I'm noticing it coming back. I don't think it's worth paying UK prices for, but if you can get it done cheap overseas then it's good.
  • No photo = no friend request, sorry.
  • Treetop - I remember reading about this older brother theory in a book a few years ago... Genome by Matt Ridley. It was only a small chapter in the book, but worth reading if you're interested. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Genome-The-Autobiography-Species-Chapters/dp/185702835X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1335258361&sr=8-1
