Hello!!!! I'm not 20 years old (actually...I'm 34) but I am 5'3"! A few years back I tipped the scales at 258 lbs. I have struggled with weight a good part of my life. In 2011 I managed to get my weight down to 204 (which is what it is now) but I still have a long way to go. I HATE that I weigh more than my husband! I've…

Ok....update. It doesn't. I just went into my settings and even though it showed my current weight, it wasn't until I hit update at the bottom (even though I changed nothing) that it actually updated my calories and such! So.....yes, readjust your weight goals! Good luck.

I was also under the impression that MFP updates it according to your weigh-in's also. But I haven't lost enough yet to see that actually happen so I could be wrong. By the way....also from Maine. Must be a Maine kind of morning. Lol! Good luck you two!

My favorite part of your photos is the sparkle in your eyes in the after shots. Your transformation is amazing. You look like a completely different person. Congratulations and good luck with the last 40-ish lbs.!

How come the app doesn't tell me off for not eating enough? Lol! Maybe it's trying to tell me something! I usually eat pretty close to my calorie goal. I keep Hershey's Kisses around for when I have a lot of calories left. Makes me feel naughty without actually being naughty. That has been one of the hardest challenges in…

Sorry....didn't take a picture but I made Beef in Red Wine Sauce. My kids love it and I let the crock pot do the cooking. (use a small beef roast or even stew beef, mushrooms, onion, 2 tbsp tomato paste, 1 cup beef broth, 1 packet brown gravy seasoning, 1 cup Merlot.....let it cook all day, serve over egg noodles or rice)

Funny.....many of the things you said hit home. I can totally identify with the Facebook, yo-yo dieting, etc. And while my husband (like your wife) is encouraging, sometimes its the peer pressure that makes the difference. My problem is I start off really well and I feel really good and then I just eventually stop.…
