  • Monday cardio - 60 mins. ugg, my shins were hurting so I had to slow down to 3 mph and use weights to keep my heart rate up... what ever works (got my water in too)
  • When I searched the database a while back to add my red potato.. there were several choices, some by weight. I've kept my scale handy to that I know exactly what percentage of a portion to add.
  • Chalk up 80 mins of cardio for me today :) I got new running shoes.. What a difference! Have a great night all and a heart healthy week.

  • Weekly check in... On the up side, I drank all my water every day 8-12 cups I weighed in this afternoon for our Biggest Loser Club at school. I was only down 1/2 lb. Hopefully next week will have better results. Congrats to all who have had success this week.
  • I love it that I need to wear a belt.... not just to make an outfit look good. Our bodies are changing! Yeah!
  • Good Morning, There are a number of things to consider.. your starting weight, the speed at which you are working out and your over all health. I started walking on the treadmill 3 weeks ago. (225 start weight, no ACL in left knee) At first, I couldn't go more than 2.8 mph and constantly thought of reasons to stop before…
  • I agree, 4 lbs. is great for a first week, especially with no exercise. I know it is frustrating when you know you have a long way to go, but the weight didn't go on over night and will not leave without a fight. Keep fighting!!!
  • Count me in.. pegm Start weight 225 Current weight 218 4 week goal weight 206 Additional goal - cardio 4x's a week/45 min
  • The nutrition info. I listed is for 1/4 of the pizza :) I huge slice all to myself!!
  • I found these the last time I went grocery shopping. Tonight I cooked the roasted garlic chicken pizza and another name brand chicken pesto pizza (family of 5.. 3 teenagers). My family prefered the Lean Cuisine! It sereves 4, has 270 calories and 7g of fat... not bad at all.. hurray for pizza night!!!
  • I wondered the same thing a while back. (I live in Wisconsin) You can go to the link below ... search for show shoveling and enter your weight ect. Happy shoveling :) http://www.fitday.com/webfit/exerciseinfopage.html
  • Way to go!!! It sounds like you are doing it the right way... consistant. Keep up the great work!
  • That video is exactly why I made my husband stay with me while I got started! Too funny! Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Food Diary
  • You sound like me... We have 3 teenage daughters. We also go to Sam's about twice a month and regular grocery shopping once a week. We average $200-250 a week. All 5 of us pack lunches, plus have lots of teenagers in our home. We wouldn't have it any other way... we get to know them AND see what they are doing :) Created…
  • It might have been last season.. it's all a blur! I'm going to keep adding it to my routine to see if it makes a difference. It feels a little funny because you are walking on your toes and balls of your feet more.
  • I saw them do this on Biggest Loser because it uses different sets of muscles. I tried it today after my normal 60 min workout. (Had my hubby standing by incase I wiped out!) You have to keep your hands on the bars for support... I could really feel the burn in my quads! Has anyone else tried this? I could only go 2mph...…
  • I have this same problem. I searched online for more information. Right now my food profile allows 47 grams, most websites said a minimum of 50-60, some said more than that. I agree with the comments stating that it is better to be over in protein and under in fat and carbs (especially if you are working out).
  • I have several Richard Simmons toning videos. The tone and stretch is better at getting my heart rate up and is a whole body workout. Is anyone familiar with these and how would your record them? I'm thinking the tone and stretch could be counted as a low impact aerobics, but the other ones might fall under…
