  • I started around 225. I do have sagging skin from being overweight and from pregnancy stretch marks. Lifting weights helped tighten up a lot, but I will always have the extra skin. I think it all depends on age, how long you have been overweight and if you were "blessed" with stretchmarks. I'll take the sagging over the…
  • You can do it! I'm 5'2" and 42 yrs old. It took me 2 years.
  • 194 for me this morning... finally the scaled moved again! As for the challenges.. how about a cardio/strength training combo? We should be doing both to get the best results. This way if we don't do cardio every day or strength training every day we don't need to feel guilty (which we shouldn't, but I know I do). I'm up…

  • I quit fast food cold turkey. For several months I didn't go near the places. Now that I have a little better handle on my eating, and seeing good results for it, I am able to make healthy choices when the family wants to go there. McDonalds is my first choice because their side sald with balsmic dressing is my favorite…
  • Welcome, Welcome! Many of us have similar amounts of weight to lose. I am on my way to losing 80 lbs. Keep logging your food (even the naughty stuff) it really helps alot to hold yourself accountable.
  • WTG!!! What a great accomplishment and an inspiration to all of us!!
  • Thank you for the details! That helps me alot to see what others are doing and what works for them. I do much the same as you (never holding on to the bars :) I need to preset a couple of play lists to mix things up a bit and keep me from getting bored.
  • I'm here, I'm here... 60 for me today.... lawnmowing with a push mower! Sassie, I know you will get there!! Keep up that positive attitude!
  • Ugg... this is where I'm at now, having to increase my efforts to get results. But, hey, if it were easy... everyone would be svelte!
  • Happy Friday everyone. You all are the best... I love how everyone is so supportive of eachother! No weight change for me this week. I have been batteling the same 1-2 pounds for several weeks now. I am going to have to try something new to get my body (and mind) out of this funk. I'll be walking with all of you, but am…
  • 60 minutes for me tonight. Almost weigh in day... finish strong everyone!
  • :drinker: I see you
  • Welcome back! Much of what you are asking for is burried in the message boards. Take some time to search them. I find that when I do the searching myself, it is a way of telling myself that I am commited and worth it. This way you get the information that is specific to your needs and you are active in doing something…
  • Week 7!!! Stick with it everyone. I've been plodding along since mid January. I saw a lot of results at first (was logging faithfully and exercising daily). As spring arrived, I got stuck for almost 3 weeks. I got a little complaicent.. not logging like I should, less exercise and frustrated that things weren't moving as…
  • My goal: 145 people's choice goal: 147 Medical 107-141 I think I could live with 155 as long as I'm toned, but 145 would be wonderful.

  • Thanks, we are moving right along. It's fun to watch everyone's pictures change... new hair dos and confidence!
  • :drinker: 90 mins for me today. I have to do as much as I can on the weekend, school activities and ball games take a chunk out of my "me" time. Have a heart pumping week everyone! :flowerforyou:
  • Wish I knew.... wish I could walk on the beach!! Walking through snow for 5 months out of the year would probably be about the same!!
  • My girls get after me when I sing on the treadmill... MOM!!!! I'm much happier when I exercise.. they just have to deal with it! :)
  • I like to end with If Today Was Your Last Day by Nickelback (twice if I'm really pushing it)
  • All 3 of my daughters play. No matter what position you play you should be moving with every pitch. I would say 250 an hour eaisly, pitchers and catchers more.
  • I would count this as cardio... it's kicks butt!! 90 mins. for me today.
  • Friday got away from me. Weigh in was 197 and did 90 mins. on the treadmill. I am going to keep up the cardio this next week and try to alternate that with 30 day shred. I've been wanting to do that and I think I need to change my routine up a little bit. **waving flabby arm... maybe an arm toning challenge in the near…
  • I also have this issue. I keep track of my measurements and since I have started running (run/walk combo) they have been getting smaller. I know it's going to take time, but I'm trying to stick with it. Good luck!

  • I got 90 minutes today. Keep it up everyone!
  • I got a 40 min run/walk in yesterday on the school track.. that kicked my but and I felt it today. I love being outside, but the treadmill is much kinder on my body. I was able to do 5 miles today, about 85 min. worth. Kick some cardio butt this week everyone!
  • If you are looking for ideas... type in "music" on the message board search bar, you will get lots of ideas.
