Hey! I'm in Massachusetts. Also my second time back at MFP after losing 85#. I'm at it again, and going to make it stick this time, since I know it works. Feel free to add!

Customer facing or not, you can try to stash some berries, or nuts or apple or veggie slices or some quick finger food to munch on throughout the day. I always have more success and stability when I eat little things throughout the day, rather than skip calories during the work day and binge at night. Best of luck, desk…

amen to that. I weigh once a week on the same day at the same time. And even then I think it might be too frequent!

You still try to buy clothes at your old size. Looking at clothes in your current size, you think - no way am I going to fit into that. And you do! :) That, and selling/donating old clothes that you love and don't want to part with, even though you'll never wear them again.

love it!!! so sweet!

8-10 a month is a lot to lose long term...Manage your expectations, don't get discouraged. Any loss is a good thing - you're already down 40! Congrats!

This is great, and you are AWESOME! It's all about approaching it so we don't get overwhelmed, and I'm so happy that it worked so well for you! Great work!

Not a small victory, a HUGE one! Be proud! Great work!

Officially just took off my wedding rings after 75# because they fell off in the shower. I can't risk losing them, so I took them off until I have time to get them sized later this week! As far as the rest of my body, I'm still fighting that "fatvision." That's going to take some time!

I was around 265 lbs when I got pregnant with my son. I had a rough pregnancy because of my weight, had gestational diabetes and pre-eclampsia which caused me to deliver 6 weeks early, in a very very very uncomfortable state - physically and mentally! My little boy was fine after 18 days in the NICU. Anyway, my husband and…

Yep, we do the same thing. Squash and zucchini are yellow and green wheels, brussel sprouts are "sprouts" like the TV network he watches, asparagus are "spears" - we have sword fights with them. Cauiflower are "white trees". He eats lots of legumes, veggies and fruits. Pretty much anything you can cut up into finger food,…

That pants pic is AMAZING! Congrats on all of your successes, both weight and anxiety! Bravo!

Maybe like crackers with cheese and ham cut into shapes with a mini cookie-cutter? My son goes nuts for those Mickey Mouse shaped cheese they sell now, and he's 3 1/2!

You're doing so well!!! I agree wholeheartedly that it makes all the difference to see what you've done so far, rather than how far you need to go. Keeping positive and thinking of this as a lifestyle is what makes it happen. And a lot of hard work! And a lot less ice cream...

I find that my eyes automatically go to the places that they used to when I was at my heaviest . Sometimes those areas that we don't see a change in are one's we'll always focus on. Try looking at the bigger picture. You've definitely made GREAT progress in a short amount of time, and focusing on the NSVs give you a much…
In the past I viewed "eating healthy" in a very black/white way and felt that one splurge kind of negated all my progress. That is not helpful at all. If you eat ten Oreos and a mug of milk, log it and move on. Have fish & veggies for dinner the next 2 days. It all works out.
Yes, this. One little slip up…

Plain Greek yogurt with raw honey is the best! Tastes incredible, especially compared to the already honey-flavored varieties!
